Aroha Guest House

Highly recommend this guest house - the father and son who manage this are very accommodating, welcoming and help with different topics - the accommodation was well-located with everything you need at a guest house. Really recommend !

A fantastic little guesthouse right next to Seoul Station. Jay and his dad do everything to make sure their guests have all they need. Look no further. This is the one.

Aroha was amazing accommodation for my trip to Seoul with my friends! The host was super gracious and helpful, even holding onto our luggage for bit at the end when we wanted to do some last minute shopping. The three of us shared a room with a full size bed and a bunk bed, and we had two shared bathrooms for the entire floor of 5 rooms total. At first I was worried about sharing the bathroom, but there was never a wait for one, they were clean, and basic essentials like body wash, shampoo, towels, and even toothpaste was provided.
There's a shared kitchen and lounge area in the basement which we took advantage of to eat some Korean fried chicken and watch movies one of the nights.
It's super close to the metro and bus stops, and there's even a 7-11 and Olive Young close by.
Aroha was perfect for what we needed, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul!

if you are on a budget, this place is worth it, if you are looking to have a great time in seoul, the staff can help you reccomend places.

after work, john, the working staff accompanied my group for late night excursions, ended up being friends and really gave great reviews on places for nightlife.

on our last day he told us different and easy accomodations to get back to incheon airport. basically he help my group for our last four days and really is a cool guy, great service,

This hostel is so homie, just like our home. We can eat our dinner in pantry, while watching movie or interact with other guests. Really convinient. I will stay here again when iam back to korea. The place is also really near seoul station subway exit 11.

First time in Seoul 2nd time in Korea.

1. Reception 5/5
Upon arrival, our host John laid out the red carpet for my brother and I. He showed us our rooms, bathroom options, living room, kitchen and laundry in an efficient and detailed manner. I was blown away at all the amenities we had access to. We felt so at home! Because everything was provided we didn't have to buy any toiletries for our entire stay!

2. First night and morning 5/5
The bedding and sheets are SUPER COMFORTABLE! I wish we had gotten the larger more spacious beds but we got lucky cuz we got the last room available for the day we arrived so we weren't complaining. The AC is so nice especially since it was summer so Korea was hot when we arrived and the AC kept us nice and cool! Our rooms had plenty of space for our baggings and should we run out of space there is an additional luggage storage room (but we didn't utilize it since we pack light).

Waking up was a treat because there is FREE BREAKFAST in the kitchen livingroom area from 7-10a. We have access to an assortment of foods and juices and should you feel the need to bring additional food to store in the fridge for to use for breakfast it's all good. Not to mention their espresso machine is the GOAT !!! I probably survived Korea cuz of the espresso machine alone hahaha. (It grinds fresh beans which means fresh and clean energy ALL DAY! Additionally, breakfast time is the best time to mingle with the other guest house residents. I met people from Mongolia Japan Ethiopia France and China, and they were all amazing.

3. Accommodations 5/5
This is by far the best part of Aroha.
Our 6 days in Seoul wouldn't have been the same without John. He went out of his way to accommodate and show us what Seoul was all about. This guy is the go to, the hype man, the big tuna!!! Without John I dont think I wouldn't have had the best time that I had. His recommendations on places to go and sights to see are on point. He knows his stuff and being so traveled and cultured he is most definitely someone that ANYONE would like. Please please please show this guy some love ! You wont regret it! Thanks again John!
Hats off to you. For making our time in Seoul and Aroha unforgettable.

4. Check Out and Check in (sorry I didn't put this in #1) 5/5
The check in and check out process is easy as pie. The hardest part is bringing yourself to leave because you're so at home by the time its date of departure. But again John doesn't fail to subvert expectations. Let him know how you'll be leaving at what time and he will show you best and easiest way home. We thought we would be late to airport or have to take a bothersome taxi but John saved the day.

Again this place is a hidden gem. Anyone considering Aroha will not regret.

ソウル駅12番出口から徒歩約8分。
宿の方は17:00までしかいないらしく、それ以降は
事前にLINEで送られてきたパスワードで中に入る。ゲストハウスの方はとても丁寧で、すぐに返信もしてくれる。
早朝の到着だったため、外の小屋？みたいな所にパスワードを入れると荷物が置いておけた。チェックアウト後も置いておけた。
洗濯機も無料で洗剤も完備していた。洗濯機2台、乾燥機1台あったので長期滞在も安心。電子レンジもあった。
歯ブラシや冷蔵庫、ドライヤーもあったが歯磨き粉が共用だったので気になる人は持参をオススメします。
バスタオルやフェイスタオル、シャンプーリンスも完備。
変換器もあったので本当に助かった。

真的非常超值，我們一行人清明連假連住四晚，一人一晚才七百多元，本來擔心一分錢一分貨，期待也不高，但入住前小幫手即多次聯繫，細心回答問題，入住前還傳步行資訊給我們，讓人很放心！旅館地點很讚，仁川機場快綫搭到終點首爾站，從12號出口搭電梯上樓，步行一小段上坡（沿途有櫻花吹雪美景，有公園可以運動ＸＤ）途經7-11可以補貨，再轉個彎就到了，行前有看到網上有人分享要走十分鐘，其實不到五分就可抵達！回程更快，行李箱一路下坡＾＾我們一點多到即可check in，入住後備品一應俱全，無限供應，提供wifi、衣架，還有大台吹風機不必擔心按到手酸，雖然房內沒有獨立衛浴，但旅館總共有五套衛浴，幾乎不用等待！雖然浴室空間不大，所以淋浴時難免潑到馬桶，所以單純上廁所會稍感潮濕，房間空間不大，雙人床外有書桌可以辦公，剩餘空間無法同時開啟兩個大行李箱，但瑕不掩瑜。早餐吐司麥片柳橙汁吃到飽，還提供洗衣機自助洗衣，對於這種價格來說真的CP值超高！最後一天還可以寄放行李，真的非常推薦給想到首爾玩的朋友！

역에서 엄청 가깝고 저렴하고 좋아요. 사장님도 친절하시고 이틀전에 웰컴안내도 문자로 따로 해주심. 추천 100번 합니다~

phòng nhỏ mà sạch sẽ gần ga tàu điện ngầm, tiện shopping lotte mart, phía tay phải cuối đốc có hàng cơm bình dân, cô chú chủ quán nhiệt tình và rất rẻ, rất nhiều cửa hàng tiện lợi 24h, gần nhà tắm hơi. Nói về địa điểm quá tốt, sẽ quay lại Korea
