I came to Korea in autumn and it was freaking cold, the weather went down to -3 degrees within a day. By the side of Han River, it was colder, and shivering to death because of the wind and open area. You can see that the sky wasn't as bright as it should be. Surprisingly, there are shops and a convenience store around that area (which are on the ship near the coast) so you can enjoy eating, picnicking, and spending time with your family and friends. Also, there is a bike rental shop for those who want to cycle around the park.

Amazing place for a picnic in the afternoon. Many people all doing the same thing. You can rent a picnic blanket and small table and buy snacks from the 7/11. When we were there on a weekend there was also food stalls and performers.

Nice park, great place to have a date with the loved ones. Can rent a bicycle..also have a chair facing a huge river to enjoy the sunset. Great experience to ride a hangang ferry tour.

Visited this place last Jan 8, on the last day of our Korea trip. We went in the afternoon to kill time before our flight at night.

Yeouido is only a bus away from Hongdae where we stayed, and I stand by taking a bus instead of the subway. The bus took the bridge crossing Han River. Great view plus no need for any subway transfers!

As we experienced it, Yeouido is a chill neighborhood. No tourists at all when we went. Weather was cold at -3°C - and even colder whenever the wind blew along the river! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the walk all the same

Recommended activity that we did while we were there: buy & cook ramen at a convenience store and eat at one of the picnic tables at the park. We bought ramen from the big eMart24 in the middle of the park. The ahjussi there was so kind to explain the kinds of ramen, the sides available to buy (small pouches of cheese, egg, kimchi, etc), and how to use the induction ramen cooker! Delicious ramen + kind ahjussi + outdoor ambiance = great experience all in all.

Come here to see the Seoul International Fireworks Festival. There are a lot of people on-site, and most of them have set up tents and picnic mats in designated areas, waiting for the fireworks display. When the fireworks are set off, everyone watches from their respective areas. The fireworks are grand and beautiful.
The exit and entrance routes are clear, but they are crowded, so you need to be especially careful.
It's worth coming again.

Extremely nice atmosphere. We rented a mat and a small plastic table. I recommend buying drinks and ramen at the 7-11 inside subway bc they charge more at the convenient store at the park. Will go back 💖💖
A lot of couples and friend groups 📸

As a tourist seeking respite from Seoul's pulsating energy, Yeouido Hangang Park emerged as a welcome sanctuary. The Han River's grandeur unfolded before me, its vastness mirrored by the awe-inspiring cityscape. Witnessing the panorama, bathed in the winter hues of the day, was a visual feast for the senses.
Beyond the captivating vistas, the park unveiled its true magic in its quieter corners. Seated on a bench, a warm cup of coffee in hand, I found solace in the gentle murmur of the river and the city's soft hum, a symphony of tranquility amidst the urban vibrancy. This serene haven provided the perfect space for reflection, allowing me to process the whirlwind of experiences Seoul had offered and recharge before rejoining its electrifying rhythm. Yeouido Hangang Park stands not only as a testament to the city's beauty but also as a refuge for weary travelers seeking a moment of peace and rejuvenation.

I've been here a couple of times as a tourist. It's beautiful both in the day, but also at night. Regardless, you have many different vibes for many different occasions.

Whether alone, as a couple, or as a group of friends, you can rent a bike to cycle up and down the river, rent a mat to sit on the grass, or just walk around and enjoy the river breeze. If you're adventurous, you can emulate what they do on Korean drama, and order takeaway to be delivered here directly.

The Han river is probably a signature of coming to Seoul. It's really long, and you'll likely come across many parks being built along the river, each with their own uniqueness. I really like Yeouido, for the size, the convenience, and also how it's very straightforward. That said, it's also the most commercial one around, and more populated with tourists.

Love the vastness and beauty of this park. Weather was so nice in autumn. The experience of cooking ramyeon using the machine and eating by the river was unique and enjoyable.

One of the best place to see the beautiful han gang river. Kindly don't go when it's winter season. It's so windy cold 🥶

Lovely place end of October, cooling and windy. . You see a lot of locals relaxing. There is picnic mat service for you to rent, and you need to pass your ID. Once you return it, you will get back your ID.

Awasome place for a beautiful evening. It's on the side of the river Han. U can take a ferry for a 40 min ride .... or you can walk through the side of the river bank.... there were some time fireworks.... but need to check the schedule before..... definitely try the hot noodles 🍜 😋...

The area along han river is always beautiful and nice to hangout with friends to just relax. The nearby convenient store has lots of self-cooking instant ramyeon which is a must-try, adding an egg will make the noodles taste so much better. There will be some people busking around the area occasionally, which is enjoyable to watch as we wait for the sunset and night view.

Me and my friend came here because we want try to eat self-cook hot ramyeon with hangang river's view. We bought ramyeon and stuff at the 7-eleven and the cooking place is outside the store. It was quite busy at night and we almost couldn't get a seat so we sat on the empty stairs. Actually there are many picnic stuff for rent and food stall nearby.

Beautiful park next to the Han River. After visiting the Yeoido Full Gospel Church, our family dropped by the park to enjoy the scenery. Lovely. Wish I had my bike to ride the trails. Worth visiting and spend time with your loved ones.

Great place to spend with friends and family. It is my fav spot in Seoul. Watching sunset here was lovely, even though a lot of people around. I still enjoyed it. You can walk, rent a bike, and have picnic. Bring your picnic equipment or simply rent it there and grab some foods from the stalls.

Mostly, go here for evening walks and to watch the sunset. The full moon rising is also beautiful 😍 It can be crowded, especially on weekends and public holidays

It's a park by the water. Rent a mat, watch independent performers, eat some food, drink some beer, and enjoy the view of the cityscape and bridge. Nighttime might be best.
