Went in the afternoon. Lovely walk upwards with a fantastic view of the city area. Might be even nicer in the evening considering the city lights.
Not recommended for those with knee or joint issues as its very vertically challenging.

The park is so beautiful!
Well signposted, with lights, respectful people, there is a museum inside the park telling its history, the receptionist is very kind, I highly recommend the visit, it is a splendid place.

Came here on a weekday evening. Exceptional views of the city despite elevated PSI.

Lights come on between 6 to 730pm depending on the season.

There are some badminton courts here if that interests you.

Just get out of Hyehwa station at exit 2, follow the instruction then you can easily reach this park within 10 mins walking. I came here early in the morning so that was not that much people. It links to the mural village so I also visited it at the same time. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous view of Seoul city! We came early in the morning around 7:00am and the only people here were elderly walkers.

AMAZING ! beautiful mountainous park in the neighborhood. The view is just so breathtaking. It’s a local spot with many residents in the area so be sure to be respectful!

There are public exercise equipment and some roads are only for walking, no bikes allowed.

This is a nice trail from the base at traffic light level all the way to the top of the hill, where a vista of Seoul can be enjoyed. The walk all the way to the top isn't so bad in mid/late October, but I would think it could be a little bit of elbow grease come mid summer. You might also want to come here after dusk to enjoy Seoul's simmering lights.

It's a very nice park like any other parks in Korea, there are lots of local people on the weekend come here for exercising, hiking. The view point on the top is quite nice to see the other side of the town. It's just a good walk from the Ihwa Mural Village then take a bus from there to the town.

We made our ascent to the Naksan Park from the Dongdaemun station exit 7 (there is another station named Dongdaemun History something and you should not get down there.)

We went up along the Seoul city wall which we were told marks the limit of Seoul. Although the steep paths made me out of breath, there was beauty all around and when we reached the park, it was a wow moment.

I later saw that the mural village on my places-to-go list was so close but we were going with a group so stopping wouldn't have made sense anyway. Maybe next time

A park with a clear view of the eastern center of Seoul. In particular, you can see Seoul National University Hospital right in front of you. If you go a little further, you will see commercial buildings on Euljiro 4-ga. And right behind it is Namsan Tower.

Naksan Park is the northeastern part of the wall that protected the capital of the old kingdom. If you follow the fortress wall down to Heunginjimun (Dongdaemun), you can enjoy an excellent view.

A lovely trail where one can overlook Seoul city. One can see Seoul tower as well as Lotte tower. There are a few cafes along the trail as well. I visited during the daytime but the night view would be amazing as well

Beautiful park with panoramic views of Seoul. The hills are steep but there are pavilions around to take a breather. The route is covered in this carpet like mat so that the ground does not erode, making it easier to climb up. Expect to take 2 hours to go up and down, stop by the Ilhwa mural village for coffee or a break
