Inwangsan Mountain Park

Nice respite from Seoul shopping. Multiple entry points - we went in on the Dongnimmun side and out at Cheongun Park. Lots of steps but generally not too demanding. Great views and night view is great. Bring flashlight if going at night

Scenic mountain and park in the middle of Seoul. The lower section of the park consists of nice, easy, and well-maintained trails through the forest and along the old city walls. To go up the mountain entails walking up a fairly steep grade in a relatively short time, so some level of fitness is required. But it isn't overly difficult, and most of the people I saw doing it weren't even wearing proper hiking shoes. The views of Seoul from the top are, in my opinion, rivaled only from Bukhansan itself (although the views here are from a much closer vantage point than Bukhansan). Definitely recommended

Awesome view from the top and it's free! You can see half of Seoul and Seoul Tower. Trails are easy and well maintained. GPS and mobile data worked throughout the walk. Makes you want to come again and do more hikes!

The trails on the mountain are undeniably beautiful. Lots of wild growth including twisted pines and gorgeous grasses with full heads of grain.

There were lots of people on the mountain, mostly older folks but a few younger families and even a couple of groups of university students. The trails are well marked, some maps and even a few public restrooms.

The weather makes a huge difference in the mountain's accessibility however. Early mornings can be foggy; watch your step on some of the rocks polished by thousands of feet hiking up the mountain. When the sun is high, the trees provide great shade with the occasional sun beams breaking through the canopy. One can understand why the Joseon Dynasty choose this area to build the palace!

A nice hike to the top of the park right next to the historical wall. Offers some of the best views of the city as well.

I think this is the best short hike in Seoul. Amazing views and can be done in 2 hours.

Medium difficulty hiking trails to the Inwang Mountain. The peak looks quite imposing piece of a huge rock, but it is not too difficult nor scary to climb up. Once at the top, you can enjoy unhindered view of the city.

아침운동하기 좋은곳. It will be good for foreigner to understand the very core of Seoul. You can see main palace of Chosun dynasty and The Blue house as well.

사식공원에서 시작해서 창의문까지 이어지는 "인왕산로"를 걸어보세요.
전망은 인왕산 정상으로 올라가시면서 내려다 보는것이 시야도 넓고 개방감이 있어서 멋지지만 인왕산 정상가는 길 말고 인왕산을 아래로 빙 도는 "인왕산로"를 걸으시는것도 아기자기한 맛이 있어요.

사직공원에서 출발해서 아담한 사이즈의 호랑이상, 초소책방에 들려서 커피한잔의 여유, 무무대에서의 전망보기, 인왕산 석굴암 구경하기, 윤동주문학관으로 이어지는 "인왕산로"를 빨리 걸으면 1시간이지만 사진찍고 커피드시고 석굴암 보시고 하시면 몇시간 걸려요.

무무대 전망은 시야가 넓지는 않지만 거리는 가깝기 때문에 빌딩이나 주택들이 가깝게 보여서 인왕산에서의 사진은 더 선명하게 찍혀요.

인왕산을 등산 하시고 반대쪽으로 내려가신후 인왕산로를 따라 시작하신곳으로 돌아가시면 좋을듯해요.
