Dongdaemun Shopping Complex, Seoul

Very nice selection of various yarns and notions. The fabric stores seem to be open whenever they choose to be lol. On Saturday seems like most things wrap up by 4-5.

If you wanting to shop, this is the place to go. An absolutely massive shopping area with sooooo many stalls to shop in. One block has a certain group of clothes and the next has another. Prices are very competitive and there is a plethora of restaurants on another block to choose from. If you came to Korea to shop, this is the place to go. If you are looking for something specific it's probably best to ask directions as you could walk around all day and not see what you are looking for!

Thai place is great. We went to the fifth floor to buy arts and crafts supplies, mostly for decoden projects. So much to look at and buy!

Great for shopping fabric and respective hardware. In the morning it is not so crowded. It's a good idea to write down the stall numbers you like as otherwise you will never find them again. However, many shops are wholesale only...

Great variety of items... Negociable prices. Service not too good, but common in Korea, treatment to foreign buyer is not kind.

Lots of things in here, but bear in mind that it's mostly fabric, applications, and haberdashery - aka not stuff you just buy and wear.
