Cheonjang Lake Suspension Bridge

I had an absolutely amazing time hiking around the Cheonjang Lake Suspension Bridge! The weather was perfect, which made the view even more breathtaking. It's mind-blowing to think that this bridge is the longest suspension bridge in all of Asia. I highly recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself!

It is the longest suspension bridge in Korea. It crosses Lake Cheoncheon to enjoy the natural scenery after passing the model of the Red Pepper Tower (16 meters high) symbolizing Cheongyang.

Cheoncheonho Suspension Bridge is also a famous tourist destination. It is known to the general public through television programs. In particular, the Cheoncheonho Suspension Bridge has become known nationwide as a feature of Cheongyang. It was the place where the actors of the famous drama series "1 Night 2 Days" were filmed a few years ago.

You can admire the lake, suspension bridge, dense forest, and charming valleys from a hiking trail leading to the top of Mount Chilgapsan. Most importantly, you can experience the unique charm of the Cheoncheonho Suspension Bridge, which is open at night.
Attractions: Suspension bridge, dragon and tiger sculptures, and walking paths.

There are a lot of free parking lots near this place.

It is a beautiful lush park. Starting from the long suspended bridge we took a 1.5 hour trek to the top of the mountain which a lowed sprawling vistas of rolling hills. Then after a quick descent reached a small but quaint temple tucked in the mountain. Do not miss the special bibimbab with locally produced authentic sides just few minutes down the road from the temple. Great day trip from Seoul:)

Very beautiful scenery!! Lots of opportunities for hiking! Wasn't able to go everywhere in one day. Can't wait to come back!!

Open for public. You will walk through a couple of red chillies to get into the bridge.

Quiet, clean walk around the lake and across cute suspension bridge. Thank goodness for snack stands at the entrance on a hot day! The only thing that would make it better would be swimming activities in the lake.

A pit stop before Cheongyang Alps Village, beautiful lake.

출렁다리가기전에 놀이터도 있고 액티비티하는 곳도 있어 초등학생을 둔 부모라면 같이 방문을 하면 좋을 것 같다
출렁다리를 건너면 등산로(칠갑산 정상가는길 3.9KM)와 산책로가 있는데 어르신들이 여유롭게 산책하기에도 좋음
호랑이와 사진도 찍고 큰 용도 있고..^^
무엇보다도 대부분이 무료라 부담이 없음

청양 알프스 마을에 가기전에 잠시 들렸던 곳이에요. 알프스 마을에 갈 계획이 있다면 이 곳도 들려보는걸 추천합니다. 주차장이 마련되어 있고, 무료입니다. 입구에 음식점도 있어서 한바퀴 돌러보고 출출한 배를 채우기 좋을거 같아요. ^^ 출렁다리까지 가는길에도 아기자기하게 공원을 조성해놔서 심심하지 않고, 저 멀리 보이는 호수를 배경으로 사진 찍기 좋아요. 시간이 되면 데크로 구성 된 호수길을 걸어보는 것도 좋을거 같아요. ^^

두번째 방문
적당한 날씨속에 풍경을 즐길수 있어서 좋았다.

천장호 출렁다리 한달전에 갔다왔다. 모덕사 갔다가 들렸는데 여기는 사람이 많았다. 커플들도 보인다. 가족들끼리 많이온다. 다리를 건널때 진짜 출렁인다. 다리 중간에 파손된 부위 수리 흔적이 보인다.

이렇게 경치좋은곳이 무료개방이라니 놀라웠다.11월부터는 출렁다리를 건널수없다 되있었지만 10월 말에 방문해 건너볼수있어 다행이었다.(?)
안전상의 이유로 보수공사를 한다하니 좋다 생각되었다.
