Actually this rock is very close on ground.
Just walking 15mins without high degree hill.
If you more additional challenges you want, you can claim up more highest temple.
This rock made by monk during "고려시대".
That is mean more than 1000years ago art work.
However, still good condition.
You can also found many pension nearby.
So, healing course with lover and family.

Just a short walk up the stairs to see this national treasure! It's a beautiful mountainside carving. There are brochures in English at the top of the first set of stairs, outside the visitor's center.

입장료 무료, 주차는 식당 '용현집'에 하고 올라갔어요.
계단으로 올라가는데 힘들지 않았어요.
꼭 해설사 설명 들으시길 추천합니다.
정말 맛깔스럽고 재미있게 풀어주세요.
되도록이면 오전 관람을 추천해요. 그래야 백제의 미소를 제대로 볼 수 있어요~ 저희는 오전 11시 넘어 갔는데.. 그 시간도 괜찮았어요.

자릴 옮겨 여기저기서 찬찬히 보면 보는 각도마다 다른 느낌, 다른 색감의 마애불을 볼 수 있습니다
일본인 단체 관광객들도 다녀가는 곳 입니다
마애불을 바라보는 왼쪽에 보면 매우 인위적인 사각형 홈이 3개가 있습니다
이 홈이 궁금해서(혹시 최초의 마애불은 건물로 둘러 있었던건가?) 알아보니 70년대에 마애불을 보존하겠다고 세운 건축물의 기둥 세운 흔적 이랍니다
건축물을 세워놓고나니 햇살 각도에 시시각각 변하는 마애불을 볼 수 없게되서 철거 했답니다
마애불 바닥도 찾는 이들이 많아져서 축대를 쌓고 만든거라고 합니다

백제의 미소라는 말로만 표현하긴 아까움. 좋다 세 분 다…떨어져나간 어깨와 팔이 너무 아쉬울뿐! 멋진 조각!!

백제의 미소를
닮은 마애삼존불상이 있다고 해서
찾아나선 길.
용현계곡 입구에있어
누구나 손쉽게 갈수 있는 곳
그러나 숲이 우거지고..
올라가는 길이 가파르지지만
정비가 계단으로 잘되어있어
좋습니다.

입장료 없구요.
주차시설 좋습니다
