Yongsan Family Park

This is a VERY beautiful park. When you come here, be very glad you have this opportunity. Since the Japanese occupation at the turn of the century, they set up a military camp here, at the exclusion of the locals. Then when the Allied forces and US forces came in, they had used the military facilities that were readily available, which meant local Koreans couldn't step onto what technically is their own land until it was finally returned to them decades later.

VERY beautiful park, decent size and great for families suggested by its name. Good place for gatherings with a forestry vibe to it! The park is in a great location right next to a museum. Great place to relax with trails to exercise with friends, family and by yourself! Would definitely recommend if going to the museum!

Always pretty every spring. Starting from magnolias, cherry blossoms, hall crab apples?(Look similar like cherry blossoms), this place will always amaze you.

8th Apr. You can get here easily via the subway. Visited for the cherry blossom. However this year they bloomed a week earlier and due to a heavy downpour 2 days ago, most of the petals have fallen. Nevertheless it is a very well kept and beautiful park. Had fun at people watching & taking in the nature.

This is such an underrated park. It’s beautifully harmonious.

Beautiful grounds with lots of trees, greenery, and some ponds. Small playground for kids. Plenty of grassy area and benches for a picnic. There is a parking lot

This place is a little piece of nature in a big city! There’s some nice paths to walk along that take you to a park, through a pagoda area with very old structures and a Korean flag park. It’s right in front of thr National Museum of Korea

Nice park to walk your dog, with some good facilities like parking, toilet, playground, swinging chairs, barefoot walking trail, a pond and vegetable garden.

We came from the south Side from the River - there where No shields describing how to Access the Park what so ever. There is this big Military complex Thing. Have to Walk a big distance coming from the river side

Yongsan Family Park is a really great place to visit in Seoul. There are lots of things to do and see there, like walking on the trails or having a picnic with friends. The park is really big and has a lot of trees and grass, which makes it feel really peaceful. There are also playgrounds for kids, so it's a good place to bring your family. The park is free to visit and open all day, so you can come anytime you want. I went there on a sunny day and it was really beautiful. I would recommend this park to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature in the middle of the city.

This place is so beautiful to see. There are good architecture and beautiful museums. Beautiful waterfall and nice pond full of fish.

Lovely park with a water feature

As the name of the park already says, it is ideal for families but also for couples or so of course. You can picnic there, kids can have fun on the playground and dogs are also welcome in the park. Sometimes, even wedding ceremonies take place there.
If the weather is great, try to come without a car as the parking lot is often full and a queue of cars is waiting to get in!

Peaceful park in Yongsan area in which you can walk or simply rest

The park is maintained regularly, allowing the park to look aesthetically and colourfully pleasing. The flowers here are blooming now, which really blended well with the stone towers, the museum and a large bell. It is really beautiful during the spring time as well as in winter, and also in summer and fall. Really, the best way to experience the beauty is by actually visiting the place!!

Hidden beauty! There is a small pond thats gorgeous in the winter.
