InterContinental Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort

The staff here were very friendly and greeted us with a smile. They also speak English fluently so there was no language barrier. The lobby area was really comfy and spacious cater to all the guests. The hotel room was also spacious with a great view that was facing the alpensia ski resort. The room was also well equipped with basic amenities.The television had a great variety of entertainment channel. The alpensia ski resort was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel to all!!

Amazing hotel. you may enter hotel.with rolling door or regular door. you can see couch at the front of the door. Probably it's for customer sitting while waiting. it got a lot of couch. lift are divided into 2, right for 1 to 35 floor. left for 35 floor above. walking to the room. you will find close tight doors installed,as it's standard for korea to face winter,i assume. it has bathtub,shower. in the back you can play ski. can't describe it with so many features

Many wooden furnitures in the main lobby, so spacey, so many sofa and chairs, we can just sit and staring outside the window with the best view of the ski mountains. And the building is so big like an old castle and classic

It was good experience to stay in the Intercontinental. Room was clean and spacious for 2 adults and 2 small kids.
And custom service was so warm with big hospitality.

And, breakfast buffet was also nice with various dishes. And children corner was well prepared, so my kids enjoyed much.

A nice cozy hotel, service is very good, staff are attentive & very fast response 👍. Rooms are big, clean and well maintained. We had rooms facing the mountains, an iconic view of Alpensia from hotel room. Price on the premium compared to other nearby hotels. Location is in the middle of attractions eateries & amenities.

Exceptional in all aspects from the staff to the management, rooms, cleanliness. standard of food and service.
Could not rate higher and will definitely be back.

Bit old but many facilities inside resorts like convinent stores restaurants etc

Great resort hotel and you can't beat the proximity to the slopes. We ate dinner the hotel's restaurant, Flavours, and enjoyed it very much. The 20% discount for IHG members was a nice bonus. Only criticism, and it was probably something I was doing wrong, was the lights were very confusing. The lamps are all individually controlled but we couldn't find a switch to turn off the ceiling lights so we ended up just pulling the key card out of the reader which unfortunately turns off the AC. Highly recommend calling the front desk to get it figured out of you're there when it's hot.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Much better than the typical ski resort. Highly recommend.

Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Concierge was friendly and quick response. Well situated to access the way to the ski resort. Highly recommended for whom seeking a luxury accommodation with the accessibility to the Alpensia resort in PyeongChang area.

Wish the shuttles to/from the station and downtown Jinbu were more frequent but other than that, the room properly lives up to the brand’s name, staffs are absolutely friendly, and the little trekking path to the peak of the ski slope is priceless.

Beautiful hotel, large open lounge to hang out. Within walking distance there are restaurants and convenience stores and a restaurant in the hotel. Rooms very clean and spacious. Staff is excellent. WiFi did not work well for me though, I wish that had worked better.

We visited the same hotel some ten years back and decided to return after a very good stay. Getting through Korea VTL was laborious and complicated. the staff at Holiday Inn Alpensia and Suites were exceptionally helpful. Mr Dong HH personally helped me call the hospitals to check on swap test details. He also helped me to call the Korail to cancel and book new rides when I have a change in schedule. Knowing that we could not get into restaurants; he sought to find the ones we can. It is not easy to find good English speaker in Korea but Mr Dong speaks the language very well. His professionalism and friendly smile accentuate the warm hospitality of Holiday Inn. I will definitely go back again and recommend the hotel to my friends. In fact many of my friends have visited there after hearing what I said.

Quite a number of things to do in the area. The food inside intercontinental is really good. Breakfast is 32000won per adult. The skii area is just outside of the building. Nearly all staff I talked to understand English. However the laundry service seems to be quite expensive.

Loved the the spacious and clean room. Breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly too. Definitely need to check out their sauna cause it's cheap as to compare with others.

I stayed 3weeks before olympics, they were getting ready for the big day. Good place to stay next to ski slope. Clean, new updated rooms and great service.

Very nice rooms and beautiful hotel overall. Prices in the restaurant are a little high which are to be expected. Very conveniently located to town, ski slope and many places to eat.

Main organizing hotel for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Intercontinental 5 star standards, had a great stay. Not a lot to watch on TV, good wi-fi throughout the whole hotel. Nearby places are okay, breakfast starts at 6:30! That's awesome! Lots of arrivals on Friday, most likely staying the weekend. The C shaped hotel is a bit of a walk if two rooms are given on either end! No toothpaste so bring ur own

A good place can take a rest. The facilities are good but located a little remote. You have to go there with an individual car. Then you can visit various types of restaurants in Pyungchang by car.

Great price for the location w/breakfast!!!
