Seondol Tourist Site

Seondol Cliff is a naturally created split rock between which a river flows south. The breathtaking view from the top and the beauty of the natural wonder is worth watching if you come to Yeongwol City, in Gangwon-do, Korea.

Highly recommend visiting for sunset, it was clearly one of the prettiest views I got to see in Korea. and they are currentlly building a platform, so the pictures will be even prettier!

It's a place with beautiful scenery. Truly, if you see it from the observation deck, that's all you need to see. There is no parking fee or admission fee. Whether you're passing by or traveling to Yeongwol, give it a visit. If you search for places worth visiting in Yeongwol, it's within the top 5.
The name 'Seondol' comes from the meaning 'standing stone.' However, it's not just an ordinary stone; it has a unique and intriguing rock formation. The location offers a panoramic view that is impressive enough for around ten people to take group photos. The surrounding scenery is more splendid than Seondol itself, especially during sunset when it becomes exceptionally beautiful.

A nice viewpoint where you can look over the meandering Seo Gang(West river) along the valley.

주차장에서 가깝습니다. 대략 5분? 현재는 데크 공사중이라 비포장 도로이고요. 그래도 효율적으로 큰 힘 안 들이고 멋진 풍경 조망 가능합니다. 선돌도 선돌이지만 주변의 탁 트인 경관과 마을을 돌아나가는 물줄기, 미니 한반도 지형 같은 풍경이 볼만합니다. 차로 조금 더 가면 장릉과 영월 군내도 금방입니다.

영월군 선돌은 주차후 5분정도 걸어서 가면 멋진 사진과 같은 풍경을 볼수있습니다. 실제로 볼수있는 것은 행운입니다. 사계절 풍경이 다 멋집니다. 입장료는 무료입니다.

신선암과 절벽이 조화를 이룬 멋스러운 곳.. 선돌을 제대로 보려면 전망대 옆 빨간계단 위로 올라갈 것을 추천 드려요^^

주차장 여유있고 언덕에서 내려다보는 선돌도 일품이지만 그길의 일부가 유배길이란게 가슴아팠다
청령포를 들렀다 오는길이라ᆢ

공기좋고 전망도 좋고 날씨도 좋고 산책로도 좋았어요. 다음에 올때는 청령포쪽까지 산책로따라 가보려구요.
