Cheongnyeongpo

Spending my last weekend here and felt super calm! It was like a gateaway from my hustle bustle daily routine. I felt so refreshed, the view was very nice that I could see this place directly. Hope to visit again someday.

I guess rail ways have made it close but considering this is where a former king was exiled to, it seems too close to Seoul. Rich in nature (I'm sure was more splendid back in the day) and very calming.

His story is a sad one so retracing his footsteps give him a little bit more meaning

You need a short boat ride to go to the main place and its bursting with the history of the Late King. Well preserved place and definetly worth a visit.

Yeongwol is amazing place and visiting cheongnyeongpo is easy when you reserve the tourism taxi. This place is soo peaceful and perfect for evening walk

Very beautiful place, the entrance is 3000 won, includes round-trip boat transportation and access to the place. I loved the views of nature and buildings of Korean history. Highly recommended this place and Yeongwol in general.

Visited Cheongnyeongpo Cape in Yeongwol was a great experience. This place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to relax. The history of the cape adds an interesting twist to the visit. It's amazing to think about the events that happened here in the past. Best of all, it's cheap only 3,000 won including boat.

Very historical with beautiful view! Is it recommended to take the boat (3000 won) and walk around Cheongnyeongpo Cape where King Danjong (6th ruler of Joseon Dynasty) was exiled.

A really amazing place!! The entrance fee is only 3000 won but you can spend 40mins~1hrs here! must visit!

A sad place where Dan Jong, 6th King of Chosun Kingdom, was put to death by forced poison drinking at age of 16 after the his uncle, Suyang, dethroned his nephew and came to king in early 15th century.

조선의 비운의 어린 왕 단종께서 짧은 삶을 마감하기 까지 계셨던 곳입니다.
그 먼 옛날 한양에서부터 청령포까지 내려오며 그 어린 나이에 어떠한 생각을 하셨을지 그리고 청령포에서 어떻게 버티셨을지 마음 한 편으론 궁금하면서 대단하다 생각할 수 밖에 없는 장소였습니다 !

왠지 모를 쓸쓸함. 웅장한 소나무도 어쩌지 못한.

단종의 마지막 장소였죠. 역사책에서만 보다가 직접와보니 많은 생각을 했습니다.

서강에서 또 배를 타야 들어올 수 있는데 장마철엔 온전할까? 생각이 많이 들었습니다.

오게되면 진짜 오래된 소나무가 있어서 매력적입니다. 한국에서 이런 오래된 소나무를 또 이렇게 숲의 형태로 볼 수 있는 곳은 거의 없습니다. 단종이 실제로 쉬었던 소나무가 있는데 역사는 과거지만 현재에 우리가 함께 호흡이 가능하다는 것에 뭔가 생각을 많이 하게 됩니다.

울창한 소나무 때문에 들어오는 길은 무척이나 더웠지만 청령포는 서늘함니다. 이런 곳에서 단종의 마지막을 생각하니 뭔가 더 슬프네요.

단종의 유배지이며 서강이 휘돌아 흐르고있다
이곳에 단종의 유배시절 거주한집과
소나무숲이 있고 특히 천연기념물 349호 관음송이 묵묵히 옛사연을품은채 한곳을 지키듯 자리하고있다
이곳에서 단종은 어떤 심정이었을까?
그시대의 단종을 떠올려본다
오지인 이곳에 찾아오는이 없는곳에
슬픔을 안고 도는 물길을 배를타고
지금은 2~3분이면 강을 건널수있다

영월 태화산 등산후 들렸는데 세번째 온 것 같아요
지금은 관광지이지만 예전에는 유배지였다는게 마음 아프지만 힐링되는 곳은 확실
운탄고도1330 의 1길 출발지이기도 하네요

조선왕조 역사의 하나로 숙부 세조로 인해 어린왕 단종의 유배의 한이 설인 곳
자연 풍경은 아름답지만
그 당시의 단종은 찌저지는 아품으로
2년을 살다가 사사를 당했다.
숙연해지는 마음으로 역사의 장소를
둘러보았다.
