Museum of Youngwol Y Park

The place was a little further out than I expected but it was totally worth it. Spent almost 3 hours walking through the different spaces and talking pictures with different art installations.

Already bought my ticket to go back in a month. Buying their open ticket in advance is slightly cheaper than buying on site

such a cool place which you can spend hours at without even realizing! it has an abundance of photo spots in every corner! definitely recommended for anyone who’s into contemporary art and/or wants a good photo for the gram!

Interesting impressions and multimedia art that invites you to spend time observing. The architecture itself is an artwork and the view is amazing. Would definitely come again with more time!

Museum of Yeongwol Y Park is truly a place of innovative art. You can witness the vast boundaries of human thinking and its expression. This place is featured in many Kpop song videos and easily the top place to visit if you are heading towards Yeongwol.

I love Land art ! Always impressed at the facilities for land art in Korea! This museum is a must see

First, a disclaimer: My wife and I enjoy art and art museums quite a bit. Still, this place was well worth the visit. 15,000KRW per person (12,000KRW if you book in advance online!) for 6 or 7 absolutely fabulous exhibits and an equal amount of just great ones might seem a little bit much, but you gotta remember the scale. These installations are HUGE. All of the big ones are front loaded, which actually works out well. By the time you get to the smaller, cuter installations, you are primed to enjoy them. Add to the cool exhibits the fact that you are free to literally climb around in one of them-a giant crab made from ropes suspended high up in a steel cage that is itself raised well above the ground-and you have a very cool art museum. This is definitely worth a visit!

Nice museum to explore during visit the city. The unique thing I like is they decorate with red theme color which make it even more outstanding. A lot of photo zones inside. If you like to take a lots of photo I recommended to drop by

This wonderful contemporary museum does not only offer a display of interesting modern artworks, but it also provides a subversive experience you can dive yourself in!
Having the possibility to be an integrate part of artworks, joining sceneries and thematic rooms and areas will give you the possibility to feel like in a whole different dimension.
Also, there are so many great photo spot, also for couples!
I totally recommend this museum, especially for friends and couple dates!

When you arrive in front of the museum, you will see the very fascinating pipe steel installation in red—the beautiful shape of a cave that welcomes you. Go inside, and there is a lovely cafe and a place to buy the ticket.

Honestly, the land art space is very usual in South Korea. But this one is amazing. You can feel that contemporary art and the earth are working very well. They have various types and zones for the art in a massive area. I personally love the Red Pavillion zone.

I think this place is far away but very worth visiting. If you need a runaway plan from the tiring world ❣

I love this Museum!This place is a great place to take pictures and visit.So i take many pictures with my korean husband we enjoy looking around and didn't regret to visited this place.So i suggest to other if you come here in YeongwolGangwondo try to visit (Jeolmundal Y Park Museum).Enjoy!

A gem in Youngwol !!! Huge space, open view, large scale sculpture, showing Korean masterpieces including those of Choi Ok-yong. The whole visit will need around 1.5 hours, and entrance fee was KRW15,000 as per year 2020. There is also a nice cafe to rest your mind after the visit ~ please beware that half of the visit will be outdoor and you need warm clothes and glove to stay outside for long enough.

So amazing and admirable. The great art-pieces which worth to see though it seems that you have to wander to the middle of nowhere but this is a must place to go in Gangwon-do.

It is good place to look around. It has photo museum and various things to see. Very modern and special than other artifacts

Interesting collection. Even when it is busy, it is not crowded due to the path you take to see all the installations.

A must visit place in Yeongwol

This museum located almost in the middle of nowhere. But if you happen to make the trip, it's well worth it.
A majority of the exhibits are not just a piece on the wall but an area you walk through. As a result, everything is very aesthetic and serves as great photo ops. It was very fun to come here with friends.
There is also an attached cafe at the front where you purchase the entrance tickets. (Cakes were delicious.)

Amazing installations take you to magical places. Lots of fun for kids and grownups.
