순직하여 그분의넑을 기리기 위해세운 기념동상과

수류탄을 투척하여 최규식경무관은 복부관통상을
입었으나 정경수경사와 함께 격렬한 총격전을 벌이다
순직하였고 31명간첩은 1명은 도주하고29명은 사살
1명김신조는 생포되었다
