Beautiful traditional Korean stay. The location is perfect between the two palaces. The family is extremely helpful and friendly. We really loved the home cooked breakfast. We were initially worried about language constraints but it was no problem. Their daughter (Jane) speaks English, and we could easily communicate with Auntie too. They guided us with recommendations for food, places to visit, subway and bus routes, took care of our meal preferences and also helped us get a taxi while leaving. I would highly recommend this place for a unique traditional experience. The location is perfect to visit most of the spots around on foot. Thank you for hosting us. We hope to visit again.

Very cosy room, quiet surrounding in the historical area, good recommendation on dinner, enticing breakfast and polite owners. Thank you so much for making our stay in Seoul very precious.

The Hanok is on the top of a hill in front of a small bus stop. Walking to the subway will take more than 10 minutes. The owner couple was super friendly. They helped us with the directions and served a delicious wonton soup breakfast. The room was home-y and cute. Some rooms do have to share a bathroom, but it was maintained very clean.

A beautiful traditional hanok building. In a really cool neighbourhood with endless independent coffee shops, bars, restaurants and shop. The hosts are so adorable and generous. They had us smiling and laughing throughout our stay. Thanks so much to both of them.

We loved our stay. Very nice atmosphere, good location and super friendly host. Sleeping on futon on the heated floor in very small but cozy room. Free coffee, tea and water. Very nice homemade Korean breakfast served in the room or at a table outside.

It was an unforgettable experience to stay in this gorgeous hanok; location is perfect as it’s right in the bukchon district with a bus stop in front; the host is super friendly and she makes home-cooked Korean breakfast every morning for the guests. I would say this is a must-do experience whilst in Seoul!

Wonderful option if you’re looking to stay in a traditional Korean Hanok in Hanok Village. The owners are a super kind and generous couple who are genuinely interested in their guests being comfortable both in their property and in Korea. They are very attentive but provide privacy. The owner makes guests homemade Korean food every morning (when I was there she made me Korean vegetable pancakes, mandoo, kimchi, congee, porridge, and coffee). Perfect place for families, couples, or even people traveling alone. Highly recommend for a wonderful and unique experience.

It's small, cozy, with wonderful hosts. In the morning there is a homemade breakfast. The location is very good, with a bus stop right in front of the door. The whole district is worth seeing. However, one should consider whether it is okay for one to sleep on a futon on the floor. If you can answer that with yes. Then a stay is highly recommended.

A perfect stay. The hanok is very well located, everything is perfectly tidy and the hosts are particularly welcoming, kind and adorable. A real pleasure to sleep in such a typical place in the heart of Seoul.

Easily the highlight of our Korea trip. The traditional breakfast was amazing, the hosts make all of the spices and kimchi in house. Enough English is spoken to enable check-in and with the assistance of Google translate we were able to have a pretty good conversation. The futon was a bit firm for my tastes but the beautiful room was more than enough to make up for it.

Simple room, Clean bathroom, good experience . Just need to climb up stairs with luggage. Both owner and his wife are very nice. Bus "Jong-ro 1" stop right outside.

Wow this place is a treasure 💛

The hosts are so sweet and friendly, they made us feel so welcome, made us smile, and were so eager to help us with anything we needed - even accomodating us by cooking beautiful vegetarian food 🌱

This was such a gorgeous break from the chaos of the city, do yourself a favour and book here! We wish we’d stayed longer.

Amazing guesthouse in the heart of old-town Bukchon Hanok Village. The "aunt" that oversees the place is very caring and makes an amazing breakfast! Would recommend to anyone who wishes to experience a traditional stay in a preserved six-hundred year old location.

Unbelievable that it will be a very comfortable accommodation. Auntie, the owner of the accommodation explains the stay well. Having breakfast for you to eat at 8.30 is very impressive.

Lovely place for the price paid. Free hanok in-house rental for photo taking. Simple nice authentic breakfast given. Location can be hard to find, but upon booking their guesthouse, owner drop me a welcome email to guide me how to find their location. will recommend family room with individual bathroom (instead of the shared bathroom, slight inconveniences).
