STAY256 Hanok Guesthouse

Extremely worth it. My girlfriend booked this place after we stayed in a dump in the city and it was the best sleep I've had in weeks. The rooms are dead quiet, and very comfortable temperature. The owner provides eggs, espresso, milk, toast, granola and nuts, and other various items. The shared showers are good quality. What makes this place great is the fact that the owner is available daily and very helpful and friendly.

The Hanok Village is quaint, and has lots of little shops to go visit. The best part is that they tend to be a higher quality than many of the shops on the main shopping streets in the city.

If you're debating staying here, you should spend the extra and commit to booking it.

Great host and a lovely place. The place is an authentic hamok house with heated floors. Its well located in the cultural centre, surrounded with a lot of great landmarks in the vicinity and a metro line not too far away. Bathroom is shared and not connected to the house(you have to go outside to reach it), but its not too big of an issue considering all the pros.

An absolute amazing stay in Seoul! Clean, convenient and Hyun is super friendly and helpful. The area is mega safe, quiet and very cute. Highly recommend for your stay in Seoul!

While it was a slight walk from the nearby train station, stay 256 is within walking distance 10 min from insadon area. In the cool Korea weather walking is fine, just make sure u bring walking shoes.
Hyun is a great host and is well versed in English language. Young yet well learn individual. I am happy to have him as my host. Also. Bring your own toothbrush! That only thing you need staying at this place. Breakfast (bread cereal milk, orange juice, butter and jam coffee tea are provided) shower towel, shampoo shower gel.and heated floor. Super traditional hanko ( Korean house);

Stay256 has an awesome location, clean and functional accommodations/amenities, and more of an authentic local experience. If you are looking for a place that is not the usual hotel experience, I highly recommend! This is a wonderful Hanok house that is fitted with modern amenities.

The entrance is not easy to find though, the location is really good. The whole community is very nice and chill. It is easy to find good cafes and restaurants here. The most important point is the host is super nice. He is very helpful. Highly recommend 👍🏻

I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The rooms are small, but cozy and well designed. Great bedding and nice furniture. The hosts were very welcoming. The courtyard is stunning. There is a shared kitchen with everything you might need- including breakfast supplies. The neighbourhood is very sleepy at night, which was perfect for us. Enjoyed a night cap at the jazz club- La Cle- nearby. Lots of cute boutiques and cafes.

Host is very friendly, hanoK is so beautiful, rooms and toilet is clean, bus stop 2-5 mins and subway station 10-15 mins ok walking distance, surrounding is beautiful and calm

amazing place, really nice owner, comfortable and cosy. Has a kitchen with cereals and toasts for breakfast. 100% reccomend to stay there:)

We stayed here at the start of a two week tour through South Korea. It was without doubt our favourite accommodation of the trip and can fully recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

사진 찍는 거 좋아하는 여자 둘이 묵을 곳으로는 완벽한 숙소었어요.
한옥 건물은 낮에도 분위기있지만 밤이 되면 정말 예뻐요.
미리 예상했듯이 한옥이라 방음이 잘 되는 편은 아니었어요. 하지만 간단히 치킨에 맥주 한두 캔 하며 담소를 나누는 정도라면 충분히 가능해요.
늦은 밤에도 부엌 사용이 가능해서 쿠지라이식 라면도 야무지게 끓여 먹었습니다.

방도 넓고 이불도 폭신합니다 무엇보다 공용화장실이 아닌게 큰 메리트였어요!!
조식 빵,잼,버터,계란,치즈,쥬스,커피(커피머신 있음) 과자 너무 다양해서 아침도 완전 굿굿!!

Bon accueil, lieu propre et confortable.
C'est pas cher la nuit.
Le gérant m'a même fourni une carte pour visiter Séoul.
Le petit déj est sympa, le quartier est top.
