If you’re debating whether you should go or not, go. I actually enjoyed this place a whole lot more than the Mandan tower in terms of the view. It was less crowded, more peaceful and there were so many things to see. Loved the award winning masterpiece by artists. It was like an outdoor museum. Very artsy, peaceful park with stunning view. I would revisit for a relaxing break although out the year. Definitely one of my favorite parks in Seoul.

Hiked about 300stairs and the view was exquisite!! I really love all the parks in South Korea because most of them is free and offered so much good views to just sit and clear my mind.

Visited this park at dawn nearly closing time and there were literally no people around that time. Such a perfect place to take a breath and enjoy the view.

P.S. This park will look more lovely during autumn season around late Sept to November!

Went during Autumn period when there was the silver grass festival. It is a very huge park with many displays to take picture with. There is also free music performance when we went. Many locals there and they are very supportive of the singer, clapping and cheering for him. Good place for picnic. It is advisable to pay for the ride round trip so that you can save your leg power from climbing the long flight of stairs.

Nature beauty!!! One of attraction place that is not well known to foreingners. Quite easy to reach there by subway and can go back to the city easily by bus. They also provide shuttle bus as cheap as 3000 won round trip. You have an option to walk up the hill. It is a very pretty silver grass field.

Such a beautiful park! It’s filled with silver grass which is vast and spreads the whole park. Went at 5+pm around sunset in Oct and it was crowded! Super nice views and pictures too. Just don’t go too deep in the grass areas. It’s safe but there’s mosquitoes!

To get up, I recommend taking the Tram/Shuttle from the park entrance/bottom as it’s an uphill walk and tons of stairs. You could consider walking down though as there may be a long queue for the tram going down too.

Beautiful park. Came here with family to watch the sunset over the Hangang and didn't get to explore as much as we wanted because it got dark pretty fast. There are lots of areas to walk around and a convenient store to buy snacks and refreshments. It's a trek to walk up from the parking lot, so I recommend paying the 3000won to get a round trip shuttle service ticket, especially if you have little ones. The last shuttle was at 8 pm, a bit of a line formed after dark. Highly recommend a visit to spend the day. Lots of cute dogs and a great place for families.

Went to Haneul Park during autumn and it was quite crowded. I took the 291 steps of stairs instead of taking the shuttle bus. The views worth taking the 291 steps, people went to this park to have a picnic and just strolling and relaxing around. There is no entrance fee to enter the park unless you take the shuttle bus.

Went on weekends, felt like everyone in Seoul was there, and for good reason too. On top of a small hill sits a huge field of silver grass, some pink grass and windmills. Very photogenic place.

We went on the last day of the silvergrass festival and it was really crowded, there were still many people even after sunset. There were lights shining on the silver grass so that people can still take photos at night. 😄 Not sure if it was due to silvergrass festival, but the area with pink muhly was a lot smaller in comparison. The sunset view at the observatory deck was beautiful!

It takes a while to get to the park which is at the top of the hill, it's about a 10min walk from World Cup Station followed by climbing 291 stairs to the top and a 10 min walk to the park. If you don't want to climb the stairs, you can pay a small fee to take the buggy which had a long queue. So set aside enough time to get there for the sunset views

This is a very nice park to go to if you have some time to spend in Seul! It is huge and beautiful. There is even a transport service to go around the park for a very good price! You have some nice views from the city and there is a nice spot to have a picnic or a nice break!

We arrived in the late afternoon after a long day of walking. Great to have the shuttle bus service. The park is huge, we didn't have time to hike them all. We only spent time in the silver grass area. It's a sea of silver grass. It looks golden in the sunset. Then pretty soon it got so cold after sunset. But the view worth all the shivering and exhaustion!

The park is located at hilltop, you have two options going there. You can take stairs with 291 steps up or You can take shuttle service cost 4000 won for round-trip and 2000 won for one-way (per person).

The photos were taken during night. There's a lot of people since it's weekend and additional there is lighting show.

Over all we enjoy the park and I think it's more beautiful at day time, although we preferred at night because of the event but still it is good and there's a lot of place to take a perfect picture.

Beautiful park with reeds. Head up the stairs from the entrance. Alternatively, take the buggy up the hill (it starts at 10am with a 3,000won fee for round trip)

Beautiful and huge field of silver grass. From below, there is a shuttle bus up here so you don’t have to hike. The view was amazing and weather was nice. A perfect spot for taking some pictures here. Recommend!

I went to see the beautiful silver grass festival. There were shuttle buses that went up the hill but you can also walk. There are stairs an a not-too-steep hill you can walk up. The park is free and definitely worth a visit.
