Jiwoljang Guesthouse

A place of respite in the middle of a busy city. The place is full of beautiful and quirky decorations adorned by the owner lady who is an artist herself who studied traditional Korean art. If not for the resident and commercial buildings you could see surrounding the place, you might as well have imagined being surrounded by a forest.

아주친절한곳 전통있는주택

reasonably good stay, I stayed for three nights and dont have many complaints. I visited seoul in December when it was around -10°C daily, this was no problem because the house has heated floors and is properly insulated. one complaint I had but wont affect many others is the bathroom is shared and it can be awkward travelling between my room and the shower whilst under CCTV surveillance. But that being said its good

지월장 근처 사는 주민입니다. 이 가격의 돈을 받고 있다니 너무 놀랐어요.... 정리되지 않은 정원과, 무서운 분위기에요. 아무것도 모르는 외국인은 한국의 문화를 느끼러 설레이는 마음으로 방문할 텐데 게스트하우스 관리를 했으면 좋겠어요. 전 한국인이지만 여기 앞 지나갈때 정말 스산해서 무서워요

장소는 시간의 유산이 느껴지는 훌륭한 곳이나 마당외부 관리와 실내숙소는 거실 주방등을 공유해서(게스트하우스이니까) 좀 개인적으로 조심스러웠어요
비오는 날이어서 2층 숙소까지 비를 피하며 올라감. 1층은 뭐가 복잡하더라구요
오래된 곳이지만 전체적으로 정리가 안된 느낌이라 아쉬움 개선하면 아주 훌륭할거 같아요(화장실변기 커버 불편)
주인분은 아주 친절하십니다.^^
