Nice little store with friendly owners! Great choice of Sake and other authentic Japanese drinks!

Meishukan Takimoto is a great alcohol shop that has a complete selection from sake to wine to whiskey. It has a wide variety of local sake, aged tamagawa, and knowledgable staff who are able to help you out as needed. Highly recommend checking it out. Bonus point they do ship sake, so you can either order and have it delivered to your home, or you can order by phone to have it delivered.

I highly recommend going, seeing what they have, and then ordering it for home delivery! Some local selections that can only be found in Kyoto!

The staff was really nice and even though there was a bit of communication problems I got a really good recommendation, which was my question, even with the needed help to find the right type. They've got a good variety of other alcoholic beverages too, so the right spot to find something.

Même si le vendeur ne parle pas anglais, il vous aidera de son mieux. Petit bémol, les indications sont un peu fouillies dans ce magasin. Mais un très large choix (même du vin français )
