Nice little surprise pokemon store at Narita airport. It’s not large but they did have unique pikachu plushies which I had to get. Good to get some last minute pokemon shopping in with qualifying tax free purchases.

a very lovely pokemon store for some last-minute shopping in Narita! it's located at the 3f, where to take escalator from the check-in counter ground. there's a lovely big pikachu at the store front to welcome the customers. don't miss out the NRT limited edition in this store which pikachu is dressed like a flight attendant! very lovely and i bought one! good to spend some time here. but too bad it's not in the tax free area so still have to take care of the different calculations of consumable goods that's something annoying in the whole japan.

Even when departing Japan, one can find Pokemon. Quite fun to find so many plushies ready to wave goodbye to passengers.

Seemed fitting to have a group photo before inviting one home.

And the spacious clean store with fun exhibits was just the spot for said photo :)

Lovely place to buy some Pokémon soft toys. Too bad they don’t have many Pokémon cards here.

You must visit this Pokémon Store BEFORE you pass through security or you won’t be able to get to it! Check your bags first, and then go find this Pokémon Store, located at the top of the escalator above the Terminal 2 International Departure Lobby. My flight departed from Terminal 1, so I asked the information desk for help, and they directed me to take a free bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. I was able to go from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, visit the Pokémon Store, and then go back to Terminal 1 in a short period of time, and there are no security checkpoints to worry about. The free buses are on the lower levels of each Terminal and they stop to pick up passengers every five minutes or less. Ask any information booth for help if you still can’t find your way around. Compared to the other Pokémon Centers, it is a very small Pokémon Store, but it was stocked with all the latest seasonal items and it even has a coin stamp machine just like the Pokémon Centers do. There were two Pikachu cosplay plushies available: a pilot and a flight attendant. There are three large character statues: Pikachu cosplaying a pilot, Xerneas, and Yveltal. I did not see any gashapon machines that sold Narita Airport Pokémon badges/pins; maybe these are only located at Pokémon Centers, not Pokémon Stores. The staff offers excellent customer service, just like everyone does in Japan, and they also accept credit cards. It’s a great place to grab a last minute souvenir or gift, and don’t forget to make a coin stamp for 200 Yen before you leave! :)

I give 5 stars cuz it's Pokemon. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go cuz it's outside of the Departure/Transferring flight area.

If you're in a connecting flight , sadly, you'll miss this as it's before immigration 🥲

But have some official Eevee and Gengar merch which is also at Narita Airport ~ ❤

Unfortunately they were all sold out of the exclusive pilot Pikachu plush but they had friendly staff and a large variety of Pokemon goods. Even a gacha machine, digital video game, and penny presser

They have a lot of super cute products, be careful when you walk into this store, your wallet may be skinny when you left.

There’s some important things you need to know about this store:
First, it is located BEFORE SECURITY. You cannot enter the store after you go through security. ALSO, it is located on the fourth floor of the terminal 2&3 building. Follow the signs to the fourth floor to get there.
Secondly, it is in the terminal 2 & 3 building. If you are at terminal 1, you will have to take the airport shuttle to terminal 2 or 3 to access this store. Take shuttle no. 6 (at time of writing).
Lastly, this is a Pokémon STORE, not a Pokémon CENTER. It does not have the large selection that Pokémon centers do, however there are a few goods that are exclusive to this store, which are the Narita airport stickers and the flight attendant pikachus.

It’s worth paying a visit if you have time to spare in the airport. Do note it closes at 17:00, so get there as early as you can.

Located at the 4th floor where the restaurants are in terminal 2. You do not need to go through security or check in to access this area.
I came from terminal 1 after checking in my luggage and used the free terminal shuttle bus to go to terminal 2.
Round trip back to terminal 1 including shopping was around 40 minutes.
It's a small store but they have exclusive NRT Pikachu plushies and they were the only Pokemon center to sell the VSTAR Universe box in store, not through lottery.

OUTSIDE SECURITY

If you are passing through the airport you will need a couple of hours layover in order to exit passport control and immigration in order to go to this store. I intentionally gave myself a 6-hour layover to hit a couple of stores that were outside of security, including this one.

If you are coming in from Tokyo, Hit the pokémon Center before you enter security - or go to a better Pokémon Center in the city.

Last minute Pokemon shopping. I think the airport shop was better than outside because there was less people when I went there. Although it is rather small. Staff are okay and helpful. Credit card accepted, a relief after shopping cash only in almost all the small shops in Japan. Stocks are cute, neatly piled. The Exclusive Narita Airport Airline Service Crew Pikachu is awesome. If you are really a fan of Pokemon you have to look into every store because not all sell the same items. Some have exclusive toys in every place. I saw Pikachu and Evee workshop items that I did not buy because I thought it would be found in other stores too. Lesson is buy it when you see it. The new ones are cute but nothing beats the classic pokemons. Yes, Pokemon is still big in Japan. Poke stops are everywhere. That is why Poke stores are still a must to visit when you go there. Remember the Pokemon shop is on the 4th floor together with the dining area. After you check in your baggage go up and shop. You have to shop before you enter security or it will be too late to catch them all.

It's located one floor above the departure floor, just before you pass securities. They have a wide variety of plush, some tcg, and some flight related items. Definitely worth stopping by.

Loved the pilot pikachu both Male and female. Priced the same as other pokemon stores for different local items. Worth stopping by for last minute pokemon gifts

Nice small pokemon shop, if you haven't been able to visit one during your stay in Japan. Many Japan only products.
