A really good airport.

Check-in staff was nice, very fast. (We arrived early) They put our bags away without us asking, and we left.

We had plenty of time to use, so we went to the observation deck and planespotted a bit. We saw a Singapore Airlines a380 land, which was cool . After that , we ate a rotating sushi restaurant. It was pretty good.

We went to security after this. It was smooth and not crowded at all.

Here comes the very cool part. After security, we went to our gate and found a United Club, so we went in. We weren’t expecting much, until we actually went in. The United Club was MASSIVE. There was a small buffet in each corner, seats everywhere, you name it. There was a good view, too.

After the club , we boarded our plane.

This airport is one of the greatest and very high tech airport I have ever been. The staffs were very professional and efficient. Directory was clear and well informed. This airport was pretty busy but there I didn't see much queue inside, everything was in order and quite well managed.

Clean airport.

The toilets were good.

After you exit your aircraft you have to go through a COVID temperature check.

After that you have to go through customs and immigration.

I got questioned by customs, because I travelled solo with just a backpack. Pretty understandable.

Staff was friendly whenever I asked directions. They all spoke excellent English and I enjoyed my time at this airport.

Narita International Airport is a very organized airport and of course, it is because it’s in Japan! It is pleasing to walk around the airport even just visiting the duty-free shops. There are a number of eateries too around the airport.

Getting from one terminal to the other was easy and straightforward. The signs and directions are always very clear and visible. Airport shuttle is an option for those who prefer not to take a short walk from one terminal to another.

The check-in process is easy and prompt thanks to the many self-check-in machines and self-check-in luggage machines. There is always staff around ready to help if anyone has any issues with check-in etc

Narita Airport is a testament to futuristic design, seamlessly blending innovation with functionality. The welcoming and helpful staff contribute to a positive atmosphere throughout the airport. Special recognition is deserved for the architectural brilliance of the restrooms, which not only stand out aesthetically but also maintain spotless conditions. Despite the crowd, the airport's thoughtful planning ensures a smooth and unhurried experience. Additionally, the diverse array of eateries provides ample choices for a satisfying dining experience. Narita Airport impresses with its modernity, cleanliness, and well-orchestrated convenience. An exemplary travel hub.

Tokyo has two airports, Narita International Airport (成田空港, Narita Kūkō, NRT), which handles a large number of international flights as well as domestic and international flights by many low-budget airlines, and the more centrally located Haneda Airport (HND), which handles the city's main share of domestic traffic and an increasing number of international flights.

Narita Airport (formerly also known as New Tokyo International Airport) is located in the city of Narita in Chiba Prefecture, about 60 kilometers outside of Tokyo. It consists of three terminal buildings: terminal 1, terminal 2 and terminal 3. Terminal 1 and 2 each have a railway station in their respective basements. Terminal 3 serves low-budget airlines and is connected with terminal 2 by a pedestrian walkway. Free shuttle buses operate between all three terminals.

This is a very efficient airport. I never encountered any issues when arriving or departing from Narita. The staff are very professional, helpful and courteous. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to entertain you while you wait for your departure. The airport is also well connected to Tokyo via many different transport options such as NEX.

Nice, clean, organized huge airport with an efficient process for arriving passengers. Travellers are orderly directed to the immigration and security counter. Vending machines of food, drinks are everywhere. Airport transfers to the hotel are available via train, limousine airport bus or taxi. There are not much stores at the arrival area.

Departing procedure at the Narita Airport from the airline check-in, to the Immigration and finally to the security screening is very systematic and amazing. They’re not even a queue despite the heavy flow of passengers. Airport staffs are courteous and efficient. Roaming security AI is fun to watch. Souvenir shops and restaurants are good priced.

Washroom is very clean, neat and modernized.

NRT airport is extremely clean. Many people are in key positions to guide travelers passing emigration and custom quickly. Transportation, via trains, buses and taxi, to the city is clearly marked in multiple languages. Great experience passing through without any issues.

This airport is not that huge but very convenient to all. Airport staffs are helpful and have very gentle behaviour. Immigration was super fast during check out. For entering the country Just need some paperworks if you did not fill the forms online. Airport shuttle train service available.

Great airport with so many places to do your last moment shopping. Here you can find a Pokémon Store at Terminal 2, Floor 4. There is a shuttle to move you from Terminal 1 to 2. Also you can find Nintendo check-in stuff at Terminal 1.

Very smooth and quick process of checking in, security check and immigration. Very clean and organized airport with comfortable waiting areas. And if you missed Japanese McDonald’s in Japan, here is your last chance to try it! Loved the premier lounge with all kinds of cuisine

Thoughtful people
I boarded CI101 for Taiwan and thanks to an early arrival, I found ample time for duty-free shopping. However, there were astonishingly long queues at shops, I opted for more personalized experience. Buying delicious custom-made coffee and grabbing a book to make the most the waiting time.
Remarkably different from Western airports, the customs process in Japan doesn’t mandate visitors to remove belts unless they’re wearing ankle boots or jackets. Moreover, passengers are provided with slippers at the checking points, highlighting the thoughtful nature of the Japanese people who consider it unnecessary to embarrass guests with untidy clothing during checks.

Everything is good in this airport, convenient transportation to come here, many shops and restaurants, proper signs, and security systems or custom systems are good. But I couldn’t find the free hot water, just find some free cold water spot. 😞

It's a nice clean airport. It's less busy compared to other airports around Japan. There's only one lounge for Priority pass which is NOA lounge. It's a small lounge that only serves snacks and beverages. But it has a nice big window overlooking the tarmac.

Couldn't be more happier with the experience.
Narita Airport has everything you need to start off your journey in Tokyo. You have a vast shopping mall, several stands where you can rent a car or wifi, and it is connected to several different public transportations that range from trains to buses.
Staff are extremely polite and, even though some do not speak English, it is easy to reach what you need.
Thank you very much for everything!
