Makeman Home Improvement Store

Great stuff. Just another part of the chain, but they always have everything I need and the workers are great if you need help. I especially appreciate the garden section, the plants are well taken care of and everything is explained on the tags regarding care for them and soil/fertilizer types.

For the Americans looking at this store, it’s pretty much the Home Depot of Japan. Great place where you kind find essentially anything you need for home improvement. They also have a pet section where you can get animals which was pretty cool. Overall, great place.

This is my first time. I did my car oil change over here. Service is really good. Quick! Price is really good also. Appreciate it!☺🙏

Awesome hardware, plants,pets,100yen store!! If you buy wood from them for your project they'll cut them for you. Awesome customer service! Busy parking area because it's a great place. Be patient and have fun!!

Home building materials and pottery plants. I always enjoy going into the store seeing what is new and seasonal. Lumber prices are going to be on the higher end but still reasonable. Example, 2x4 6 foot long, untreated, will run you about a 1200 yen.

It’s like the Menards of Okinawa. Super cool to go to and they have a ton of plants and stuff to buy to fix up your house.

Like a place in between Ace Hardware and Lowe's. This place is huge and has a lot of products for home improvement for small scale projects. Obviously lacks U.S. spec items for plumbing parts, but has smiliar sizes that could be MacGyver'd to work.

It's further from the area I live but it has LITERALLY almost everything you could ever need while here.

Has a healthier and wider variety of plants.

Huuuuge selection of 100yen items which is wonderful if you are looking for goodies to bring home. Also great for home items, candies, crafts and odds and ends. The rest of the store has what a Walmart would carry with out food and downsized on selection. 100% worth a visit to see what they have.

Good experience, never disappointed, always find what I want and more that I don't need, lol. easy to navigate through the store. They take cards which is good cause I don't carry yen all the time.

Makeman has hardware wood concrete outdoor gardening items as well as diy sections and furniture sections. There is also a dollar store in this makeman
The employees are nice and helpful. They are willing to work with you to understand what you need. If you purchase wood from here they will cut it for you for cheap.

Love this store has absolutely everything I can ever want when it comes to home goods.

Staff are friendly and as helpful as they can be, sometimes its difficult for me because I don't speak japanese but the staff do a great job to accommodate me and help me find what I need.

Love the new bathrooms, very clean and accommodating for nursing mothers. Makeman has everything you could possibly need, from hardware to outdoor patio stuff, pet stuff, diapers, kitchenware, they really have it all

I like the bigger makeman vs AV one. Has more items. Anything to build it yourself is here. The only downfall I saw was only 2 types of charcoal.

Takes credit card and yen. Lots of parking and can enter into parking lot on 2 different sides.

A lot of handy tools you can choose for affordable price. DIY things are here. I'm definitely going back.

This Makeman is like a huge Home Depot in USA. This makes Makeman in American Village look so small.

The garden center is so amazing and huge. You have so many choices to choose from. The inside of the store is huge as well with almost endless choices.

It is worth the ride to this Makeman to get what you really want and not sacrifice.
