Yurikamome Shimbashi Station serves as the gateway to two iconic Tokyo destinations: the Rainbow Bridge and Odaiba. As the starting point of the Yurikamome line, it offers passengers a scenic journey across Tokyo Bay towards Odaiba, a vibrant entertainment and shopping district. Additionally, from Shimbashi Station, visitors can embark on an adventure across the majestic Rainbow Bridge, offering stunning views of Tokyo's skyline and waterfront. Great place to eat and drink. Tons and tons of izakayas, small ramen shops, hostess bars / clubs.

The Shimbashi Station (Yurikamome Line) is the most convenient way to Odaiba and it’s view while riding the train was astonishing. It’s highly recommended to ride here before or after the rush hour on weekdays. Weekends can be very crowded.

Interesting ride onboard the Yurikamome line. Take a seat facing the front window for a great view crossing Rainbow bridge.

Yurikamome line. One of attractions of Tokyo. The trains of the line have no driver. It’s automatically run. You can see many attractive spots through the window of this train. The beautiful Rainbow Bridge, the replica of the Statue of Liberty, Daiba city, Tokyo bay are some of them.

Amazing “salary-man / salarypeople” culture here! The MANY standing izakayas are the BEST and meeting people after their work is a beautiful way to get to know the culture. Very glad I used to work here and always a pleasure coming back :)🍻

Shimbashi Station is one of the most-used stations in the Tokyo Center. Almost all lines pass through here. If you get lost, re-orient yourself by going back to Shimbashi. The JR lines pass through here. The underground Tokyo Metro with itd mazelike paths hold a lot of wonderfuk shopping and food spots.

Within less than a kilometer radius from the station, you can actually waste a whole day visiting all the different restos, bistros, cafes, izakaya places, and the like. Right beside the station is a building with one of my most favorite beer craft place, iBrew.

Ginza is also a few meters away so if you love shopping (albeit expensive shops), Shimbashi is your train station.

Recently, Yurikamome has updated its station and now features a lighter more airier space. The stained glass windows are worth noticing as you climbed down the platform. Starbucks and Famima can be found within the Yurikamome station.

Very busy station. You can buy the foreign tourist PASMO card here, despite the current disruption of IC cards. The attendant at the Tourist Information kiosk was so unbelievably helpful, it's probably the best customer service interaction I've ever had. She even noticed that we were a bit sweaty and offered to turn the AC down in the room, walked us back and forth and made sure it was handled. Would recommend for tourists needing assistance with PASMO especially.

It's a historic old station that still has the flare of the past. I like it and there are many interesting restaurants and bars.
