Cafe & Meat Bar, NICK STOCK - Aeon Mall Kyoto

The atmosphere gave off a sense of respect to where the meat comes from, and unsurprisingly the meat also tasted like it was prepared with the respect it deserves. I had a normal hamburger and bacon cheese burger (mind you I was very hungry after a full day of sightseeing).

The taste of the burger patties and the bacon were pleasant and natural. I could taste the meat exactly for what it is. It also had a delicious smoked flavour from the grill, topped by the sauce which was sweet and smokey. The buns were puff and soft, slightly sweet, and perfectly held the dish together making it easy to eat with my hands. The salad made the dish lighter without taking away the favor from the meat.

The service was very attentive so I didn't have to shout "sumimasen!" to get their attention, as you usually have to do at Japanese restaurants. Some eye contact was enough for them to attend to my food orders.

We went to Japan in November of 2023 & we came across this place randomly when we stopped at the Babies R Us nearby for our daughter. My husband & I got cheeseburgers & our toddler got the kids meal. This place was one of our favorite dining experiences. We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food, atmosphere, & service was here. The burgers are something we still talk about today! So delicious. When we visit Kyoto again, we are definitely coming back. It’s made a good memory for us.

The burgers here are amazing. I love the shrimp burger. The staff is friendly.

Great price food, great size meals. We came back twice in two days especially as it’s very spacious and child friendly.

Good food and a very fun experience. We got the 9-course meals with unlimited drinks. Good size drinks and attentive waitresses to keep getting new ones. The food was delicious, especially the Cajun Salad, the beef, and the mushroom rice. Highly recommend.

A reasonable price for a decently sized burger. Had a conventional cheeseburger, the bun was great, patty slightly small, sauce was great. Overall taste great.
Wish they had a cheaper double patty option tho.
Adding a latte cost only roughly 200 yen as a set, which is great!
Would love to visit again when I'm nearby.

Great burgers, great service, fun atmosphere. This spot is a great location to grab a bite to eat and it's far better than trying to navigate the storm of people found upstairs in the food forest of the mall . The burgers are full of flavor and large you get a lot of food for the money and it's good food.

This Mall is right next to my hotel.which is across the street from the train station....they have an food court.. McDonald's, KFC.
FULL grocery store from pre made sandwich to Benton boxes.. sushi 🍣.. rolls...

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is fast and incredibly nice. English menus are available and it's family friendly. The avocado and cheese burger was great (make sure you ask for the bun with you want one). We also got drinks and dessert.

Very good food, small but very tasty portions. The employees are very friendly and cordial. We recommend it!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant by the side. It has a nice, diverse menu and the staff understands English well.

I got the double burger and tasted just like home! The marshmallow dessert was also an interesting twist and a great finish.

It's not too far from Kyoto station but a little hard to find. It's outside the Aeon mall, on the west side. Definitely check it out!p

The Aeon mall is great for families. There’s a ToysRUs which is our go to place for kids clothing and toys. Plus the outdoor terrace has some good restaurants. There’s seating outside too.

Love this place. Good food at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Has a good selection of beers and other drinks.
I recommend the Margarita Foccacia and the fish and chips.
Has indoor tables and booths plus outdoor tables.

Restaurant was quiet but the food was delicious. Very soft and juicy cheeseburger meat.

Awesome food the sausages and the tandori chicken. Came in with kids and it was awesome they enjoyed it.

Great food and service. Great place for a meal when in koyoto.

Staffs are very friendly. The food is so delicious.
