We came here not expecting it to be fun and thrilling for adults like us. But this place brings you back in time when you were still loving Super Mario bros, Luigi, Snoopy, Puss and boots, Harry Potter, Jaws, Shrek, Jurassic Park and so much more. The best ride was the Flying Dinosaur! It shook us in all directions! The line was an hour wait, but it was worth it. You need to go to the bathroom before you go. This ride holds you horizontal, on your stomach, all weight on the harness, so you can see the whole theme park, and it will run spiral and turn you upside down! I literally cried and cursed a lot in the end because I don't usually ride roller coasters (I was forced by my hubby to try). But I guess it was worth it. You just have to let go and let the ride carry you. Even if it was a rainy and freezing day, the theme park was packed. We were not able to try Super Mario and Happy Potter. The queue was so long that we just dried and thawed ourselves in the themed cafes. Maybe we can still go back but not during winter and rainy seasons.

We came here really to check out Nintendo World, and it didn't disappoint. Attention to detail was awesome and Mario kart ride was a lot of fun along with the entire area being interactive if you have the wrist bands.

Quick note, though, even with timed access limiting crowds, it was still packed. Best bet would be to try and get an early timed entry. Also, do some research beforehand if you want to try and hit all the "mini-games" and unlock everything.

Also, somewhat unrelated but the Jurassic Park roller was top 5 best coasters I've been on. Definitely worth checking out.

An excellent theme park suitable for all ages! Purchased tickets in advance, including fast pass tickets, which are a bit pricey at 1.5 times the entrance ticket cost. Despite the cost, I strongly recommend the fast pass for quicker access to popular rides. It's essential for entering Nintendo World, which has a strict policy and requires a specific time slot for fast pass holders. Some opt to camp before opening for a chance to enter without a fast pass, but it's on a first-come, first-served basis if you register.

My top picks were Nintendo World and Harry Potter World. Spending a whole day at USJ is highly recommended. While food and drinks are typical theme park prices, they remain affordable, and I enjoyed everything. I recommend this to anyone visiting Osaka, regardless of age.

What can I say but ‘wow’. I felt like a teenager again. The shows, rides and even the food were simply perfect. The easiest and fastest way from Osaka city is via taxi. Definitely spend the extra to obtain a fast track cue to rides. I went on a Monday. The crowd was manageable, and equally a sight to see as many Japanese dress in the theme for the experience. If you like extra fun hats this is the place to buy it from. This is a place you must visit that captures the modern Japanese spirit. No rushing, no pushing or people jumping cues. Everyone is polite and respectful. Most of all they added to the enjoyment. Has to be one of the best in the world for theme parks.

Our first Universal Studios experience and I have to say, it was so so much fun. We had an awesome full day at Universal. We bought the express pass and it definitely added to the experience not having to spend too long in any one queues. My highlights have to be both, Super Nintendo World and the Harry Potter area. It was a childhood dream come true to see Toad, Mario, Yoshi come to life in Super Nintendo World and I can't wait until Donkey Kong country opens up. While not cheap, there are loads of food options around so you can never go too hungry and if you've shopped up a storm, there's a tax free counter at the front right by the entrance gate where you can get a tax refund (for non Japanese) just don't forget your passport.

One of the Best Universal Studios. Park is really clean. Lines are not that bad considering the popularity. What you don't see is the chaos in lines sometimes you get in the LA or FLA parks.

***Important note: once you leave Mario land you cannot get back in again so book your entry ASAP. The Mario Kart Ride has Single Rider so use that if your group is small and you don't mind sitting apart.

It was a day like a dream.
Everything was beautiful and elaborate. Lots of games and lots of shops selling stuff.
Harry Potter World was the best.
The place was very crowded. The waiting time was very long, up to two hours, but it was worth the wait.
You should go early, too. I recommend downloading the Universal application, it will help you a lot.

One of the coolest places on the planet! We didn't get timed entry tickets ahead of time for Super Nintendo land and rushed into the park right as it opened. The staff was helpful and directed us to where we could purchase them in park. Though even being there at opening the earliest tickets we got were 4pm. Not a complaint, just a warning/advice!

The No Limits parade was great fun and all the staff we interacted with spoke English well. We did wait a LONG time for the Pterodactyl swoop ride (totally worth it) so I would definitely try and get your fast passes as early as you can.

All in all it was a memory I'll never forget.

Went two days in a row and I can tell you that there is everything for everyone. For kids, adults and thrill seekers or people just enjoying the atmosphere. Ride queues were long but not too long. We had bought express passes for both days and my brother and I went on the flying dinosaur a total of 12 times and we loved going on it every time. On the Mario kart ride, my brother had dropped his hat and even before leaving the ride, the crew members had already seen it drop on the security cameras and informed us about it. This shows how amazing the crew members are at coordination and security. Luckily it didn’t land on the rail but beside so they didn’t have to shut off the ride but they ended up sending it to where we were staying( the universal oriental hotel) the very next morning. My super band also didn’t work on the time I went and I suspect it was due to someone pressing their band again after the ride was over right before I got on and my scores were not recorded on the usj app. The crew members were kind enough to let me go on the ride again without having me queue with an extra person through the child switch queue. All in all, universal studios Japan is an amazing attraction for all people of all ages looking for different things. Security amazing, all the crew members were super kind and helpful and the rides were amazing. Next year donkey Kong country is being released and the Spider-Man ride is being removed. Although I doubt I will be returning soon, I look forward to my next trip.

Fantastic rides and theme based attractions which span hours of walking and also wait times by its popularity with many visitors who love roller coasters and the intensity of them [here], at this Universal Studios Park location. Drawing thousands upon thousands of people of all ages, and backgrounds, families included, to Universal Studios Japan, indeed it is notably greatly one of most memorable and exciting highlights while vacationing in Osaka. Having an absolutely stunning array of many kinds of showcases, presentations, stage shows, to dance and party in musical events which delight audiences every single day during the weekday and nights. One of the greatest things of the park are families who love to be here along with their children enjoying the theme attractions for children with friends alike. Especially seeing this spot as a perfect place for young couples dating which makes Universal Studios a very very special occasion designed for everyone for any age. Highly recommended, it will however take at least two or three days to get through all of the park’s rides and attractions on average without a fast pass. Tickets are purchased upon entry into the park and are available throughout the day to evening hours. Plan accordingly since weather conditions can change, stall, or delay permitting a full day’s itinerary. Since the weekends and evenings are also highly subject to drawing huge crowds, often overflowing nonstop with fun-loving people from everywhere it’s moreover the bestseller for anytime during the annualized seasonal holiday activities and festivals! So come to Universal Studios! You will be amazed at an unforgettable time filled by exceptional excitement and enthusiasm!

It was my second time at Universal Studios Japan, always a good time there. It doesn't matter whether you're a child or an adult; you will love the time you spend there! I really had a blast at the Harry Potter zone—it's so much fun! And with the addition of Super Nintendo World, I have to say this place is HUGE. I didn't expect them to create such a fantastic place here! However, you need to reserve tickets for Nintendo World. The experience I had there was amazing; everything at USJ is great! The only downside is that you may have to wait in queues sometimes.

So, I highly recommend spending some money on a fast pass, and you won't have to wait there for a long time. Overall, this is a place you must visit if you go to Osaka.

A two-day thrill at Universal Studios Japan, discovering a diverse world catering to kids, adults, and thrill-seekers alike.

My family and I enjoyed the Flying Dinosaur multiple times, an amazing addition to the park's exhilarating experiences. Ive been on many rollercoasters and that one is by far one of the best ones I've been on.

Notably, the crew's exceptional coordination and security prowess shone through when my brother lost his phone lining up for a ride and one of the staff personally walked us through and found it.

Families, couples, and adventure enthusiasts will find something extraordinary here. The upcoming addition of Donkey Kong Country adds to the anticipation, even as the park bids farewell to the Spider-Man ride.

Highly recommended, though it's advisable to plan for at least two or three days to fully appreciate the park's offerings, more than that and it will start to get repetitive.

The "no limit" parade will run once a day at 2:00pm for about 50 minutes and is amazing for children. You can join the Special Viewing Area in Gramercy Park starting at 1,300 yen, for a better view but is not necessary. We stood along the street and that was suffice.

Ticket purchase upon entry is convenient, but weather conditions and crowds can impact your experience so I recommend buying tickets in advance.

If you're planning to go when the gates open, go around 6:30 to 7:00 as it will say it opens at 9am on the website and apps but they tend to open at 8:30. This also allows you to get into Mario world and Harry Potter world without paying extra which also allowed us to have no wait time for the first ride.

Regardless, the excitement and enthusiasm at Universal Studios Japan promise an unforgettable time for everyone! 🚀🌈🎢

This time, my friends and I opted for a day and a half itinerary without purchasing the express pass. The express pass, priced equivalent to a full day ticket, seemed quite steep, and not all popular attractions were covered by it.

Even on weekdays, be prepared for a minimum 2-hour wait for popular attractions, and consider yourself fortunate if you manage to experience them within that timeframe. Birthday discounts are only applicable on the day itself, costing around 500 Japanese Yen. If it happens to be your birthday, grab a birthday badge from customer service and wear it – rumor has it that staff might wish you a happy birthday!

We visited around the Halloween season, where spooky surprises awaited in the evening with zombies adding a thrilling touch. Various other activities were also available to enhance the experience. Enjoyed every bit of it! 😁

Be warned - this is a huge theme park and you won't be able to complete it in 1 Day. But the architectural details and the rides are so well thought out and executed. The food was great as well and service from all the staff was impeccable. Would definitely warrant a revisit.

An electrifying and lively experience if you are in Osaka, each attraction is worth experiencing because the organization and effects are top-notch, both in terms of the various roller coaster rides and the live shows! There really is something for everyone, young and adult alike!
We didn't have any big lines thanks to the Express ticket, which I highly recommend to maximize the time spent having fun. For the one attraction (Jaws) we did without the Express ticket however we only waited 30/40 minutes in the late afternoon so not that bad.

What a dream comes true!
Hi from Indonesia! 🙋🏻‍♀

I came around 9am and went home around 10pm because I was enjoy and happy there. The experience I never had before in other Universal Studios. I love the Harry Potter part, it felt magical! I know I am not young anymore, but I enjoyed and even cry for a performance from Disney characters.

The express pass is worth every penny, and that was my first time to tried kind of roller coasters. Finally I did it.

I love The atmosphere, with a nice staff members and a lot of dancing characters that make me so happy. That was my first time to feel a little touches because of this kind experience.
Thank you! Will never forget this memory 🥺.

This place is the most magical and superb theme park I've ever been to. Each zone has their own themed restaurants, the staff are super friendly and it's just amazing fun. However, remember it's SUPER popular. Remember, read guides on how to maximize your ticket. Super Nintendo World and Hogwarts is a must. Strategize your visit and have fun

Had a blast! Flying Dino, Hollywood Dream, Harry Potter, Water World, Minions were all amazing. Harry Potter area was done so well. Felt like you’re in the movie! It was so much fun we did Flying Dinosaur twice, although the wait time for rides are longer than Disneyland! But it was a fantastic day and would definitely go back!

Great time at Universal Studios Japan. I was there in November and it does get a bit cold. Overall I’d say it was worth the day. Getting the express pass is pretty much a must, as the lines are really long. The rides were pretty good (though lacking compared to the US parks), and the atmosphere was great. Super Nintendo land was definitely one of the highlights, but wow does it get crowded in there. Still, if you have kids they will be in awe. It was really done well, great job with the theme. There are little games and activities to do between rides, jump up and get some coins. Grab a power up band to track your activity and progress. The Mario Kart ride was fun, and Yoshi’s Adventure was worth it just to get a good view of true land and relax for a bit. There are some rides that have a single rider lane, and most go pretty quickly in single rider lane. The Sing show was incredible for adults and kids. Finished the night on the Hollywood dream all lit up, and it was the perfect ending for a great night. Definitely crowded, but to be expected.
