We were fortunate to have obtained our tickets early, including the express pass. The option to take both the ride and single ride ticket was fantastic! I particularly enjoyed the flying ride at Jurassic Park. The Demon Slayer ride was also very fun and one of the most interesting rides I have ever experienced. We truly love Universal Studios Japan!

We got our tickets from klook and redeemed our timed ticket at the annual pass center. Went at designated time at 2 pm, and we spent 5 hours in there!
Bowser's ride was awesome.
But the most fun for everyone was buying the wrist bands and playing all the interactive games and collecting coins. Highly recommend!
Super Nintendo World is worth the hype, and we went home with plenty of souvenirs.

An amazing destination. You feel like you are in the video game. All done to the highest quality.

Buy ticket in advance to ensure the entry. I would only avoid food (long queue and not the best quality).

Super Nintendo World was probably my favorite part of my visit to USJ. Loved the immersive experience I was able to get. Purchased those bands to take part in the experience but it's not required. Long wait as expected, but we got the Express Tickets to give us times entry into this part of the park. Well worth it.

This is a time entry area. They used to allow people to walk in before the official timing but this is no longer allowed. No reentry is allow too.

As expected, this is the most crowded place where everyone is visiting. You will need the Mario Power Band to interact with most exhibits that the game. It cost 4200 yen as of Nov 2023.

I leave it to you to decide if that is a worthy investment but do note that there are some games that you will not be able to play with, if you do not have the band.

Here we go~!

Childhood dream come true, Super Nintendo World was truly surreal. Loved all the details from the original game and the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend securing entry with the express pass for entry time at your own choosing.

Amazing place and their setup is well maintained. Immersive experience by shrinking ourself into the real world size of Mario. Their costume mascot did a great job too. The only downside is that mother nature decided to rinse the area but everyone is still very enjoying despite of the rain!

The best part in Universal Studios Japan.
Mario Kart attraction is awesome, using mixed reality in the best way possible.
You play and ride ad same time. Other parks should see this and move forward from the conventional 3d / 4d.
A must have it if you have kids, and a ride to the past for the parents.
This is the only part is the parks in Asia that was better than American versions.

A Whimsical Journey into Nintendo's Universe

Super Nintendo World in Japan is a vibrant wonderland for fans of all things Mario. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a lively parade of beloved characters and iconic figues.

The attention to detail in this theme park is very good, I'm sure it will surprise even the purists fans. From the Mushroom Kingdom to Bowser's Castle, every corner is infused with the charm and creativity that Nintendo is known for. It's a nostalgic trip down memory lane for long-time fans and an enchanting introduction for newcomers.

The pricing is quite reasonable considering the immersive experience offered, nevertheless the attractions and activities are somewhat limited, but for everyone. Whether you're racing through Mario Kart or exploring the interactive elements, you're bound to have fun, if you can deal with the long lines.

Maybe I should also talk a bit about the Dow sides. As you can imagine, it can get incredibly crowded so patience is key, especially during peak times. It's advisable to plan your visit strategically and to come mentally and physically prepared for the long, long, long waits.

Despite the crowds, the energy and excitement in the park are infectious. The staff members are enthusiastic and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Their dedication to creating a fun and safe environment is commendable.

In conclusion, Super Nintendo World is a must-visit destination for any Nintendo enthusiast. The immersive world, fair pricing, and fun of attractions make it a fantastic day out for geeks and kids alike. Just be prepared for the crowds and you're in for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Nintendo's universe.

Holy Yoshi this was mind blowing. For fans but also those who aren’t as familiar, I’d highly recommend. There are power up bands that you can purchase which will add another layer of experience (makes it more interactive, you can punch blocks that give you coins just like in the game). We didn’t but some say you only get half of the experience if you don’t. Also, one of the rides can only be done with a band so up to you!
If you didn’t get a timed ticket on the app, make sure you come before the park opens. They don’t check tickets before that time so you can just walk in however you won’t have access to it until you walk out again. Enjoy!

The Marioland adaptation was so good and nostalgia. Full of memory and fun place to visit. The main games and mini games are attractive and adorable truly worth to visit.

Recommended to reach early if not the booking time slot in USJ App will be taken and you may not able to entry.

Without a doubt, the coolest area of USJ (sorry Wizarding World of HP). You have to have either a timed entry or Express Pass to enter, but once you are in - WOW!

Bowser's Castle and the Koopa's Challenge Ride were fantastic, super well planned, very fun to play and the whole world was interesting throughout.

The café and shops do get busy, but try to make your way around everything and enjoy!

One of the best parks I've been to. The park is on the smaller side but they utilized vertical space very well. The rides aren't really the most entertaining nor thrilling but the theming more than makes up for it.

If you're willing to part with +3000 yen for the wrist watch and don't mind queuing for the extra activities, it definitely gives a more complete experience.

I recommend getting passes that schedule entry later in the afternoon so you can stay until evening as the park looks even nicer then.

What a picturesque feeling of being inside Marioworld? At this time, where else can you get this feeling?

There are mini adventures where you use the proximity watch to tap the items. It is fairly expensive. For those short on time and only have a one day pass, you should consider skipping this if you come on a busy day. Otherwise, on slow days, you should have enough time to visit and interact with everything in the park.

The main ride is the VR Mariokart which you should do first thing as the lines are very long. Rush in and you still wait at least 30 minutes. It is an amazing experience though. Would do this again.

The Yoshi ride is ok. It's really relaxing and gives you a nice view from above.

Overall, would definitely come just for this.
Note: timed entry tickets can be reserved at the entry way (close to the main gate) there are few places with free open wifi and this is one of them.

Super crowded but super worth it. Had to get express pass one MONTH in advance. Definitely get a pass that includes Mario Kart.

Best of the Universal Studios Japan worlds for younger kids. We bought the normal entrance fee plus Express 7 which included Nintendo Super Mario World and Harry Potter World. Bought a Yoshi wristband for collecting stars and power up for 4200Yen. Very expensive for lack of functionality. It's not a watch. Just a wristband and you have to connect this to your USJ app. If you purchase 5500Yen in total of gifts and souvenirs in USJ you can claim a tax refundfrom the shop just before the entrance before you head out of the USJ.

You need to book your fast pass early to ensure you get in earlier to be able to have enough time for the long queues for rides. This was for sure one of the most detailed attractions at the park along side Harry Potter.

Absolutely incredible…just stepping into the place felt like you were in Mario World. Would highly recommend for both children and adults. Nothing to not like about this place.

We went on a Tuesday morning and we pre-bought tickets online. We queued up at 7.30am and by 8am the gates were open. Queues at the rides were long (60-90min wait) but queue management was good, service staff also were well trained and there were lots of things to see along the way. Weather was very hot but it made for good photos. It would be good if there were more shaded places where general public can rest. Food at Kiniopio’s Cafe was great and it was a welcome respite from the hot weather. All in all a great trip and will be back again!

There are two ways to get into nintendo world. Without having to pay extra to your ticket. One is you arrive at the park 2 hours before opening and run to the married world. They allow a certain number of people to get in there first thing in the morning. The second option is the minute you enter the gates of the park, and it is officially the park's opening time. You can go on the app and reserve a timed entry for later on in the day. Nintendo world is one of the reasons we came to Universal Studio Japan, and it did not disappoint.
