Glanz Kei Kyoto Station

Simply outstanding! We were traveling with a baby and a toddler and looking for a house type accomodation in Kyoto and this is place exceeded all of our expectations.

Lobby feels very warm and inviting and Yugo gave my boy some toys to borrow during our stay. The condo was very clean and included an updated bath with dryer room. Small touches like a baby high chair, baby soap made our lives much easier. Someone in our party fell ill during our stay and they were very accommodating and helpful for us.

The accomodations plus Yugo San and the staff at Glanz Kei made our stay exceptional and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a home type hotel or traveling in a group. Big Mahalo and Aloha to GlanzKei Kyoto!

Lovely hotel just a short walk away from the Kyoto train station, south Hachijo exit, and mall right next door. Extremely warm and friendly staff. Definitely a little bit old school style. Specifically, you drop off and pick up your key when leaving and returning. Lots of shared amenities and condiments for your rooms if you ever want to cook. Lots of map printouts and guides with the staff. Eagerly ready to assist with any vacation needs. The suites are reasonably sized with ample room to stretch out and relax. The Internet was finicky at times. Would definitely consider returning to this hotel next time I'm in Kyoto.

If I could rate 8 out of 5, I would.

Most family friendly apartment I've ever been to in my whole life (and I travel A LOT) - including toys for kids, baby lotion and shampoo, condiments of all kinds, cooking equipments. They even have luggage forwarding when you travel from one city to another.

Room size and set up: Great - we took the room type B and it had 2 separate rooms and big dining room

Staff: Amazing - very friendly - helped us with a lot of recommendations and was happy to help in any way

Location: Fabulous 5-7 minute walk from 2 stations

If I go back to Kyoto, this will be the only place I stay ever!

Great location, easy to connect via bus and train lines, and there's a mall with a good grocery store nearby.
The staff is helpful and speaks English well enough.
The rooms were air conditioned but very humid. The washing machine has an in-bathroom drying system which also didn't work that well because of the humidity.
The utensils and plates in the kitchen were quite limited, the desk had a selection of equipment to lease like toasters. But they were very spacious and quite comfortable overall.

One of the best family friendly accommodation we have stayed at during our 2 trips to Japan from Australia. Around 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station and has a mall next door which was really convenient.

Big clean apartment, which is great for families. The staff spoke english, are friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay here would 100% book again if we return to Kyoto.

Rooms were new and clean. Staffs were very friendly. Grocery shopping was nearby. Everything was super convenient. My whole family with 2 little kids stayed a week here and we enjoyed the whole stay. Highly recommend this place.

Last December we spent a wonderful time here in Kyoto, 6 nights at Glanz Kei Kyoto station has been the best experience I have had. Massive space suitable for family up to 6 people, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, you can borrow preferred kitchen stuffs at reception for free and one dining chair for baby is available also. We truly adore this hotel and its service. Highly recommend for families.

Very friendly welcome staff. Speaks very good English and Bahasa. Very knowledgeable of the area and places to eat and visit. Just a skip away from aeon mall which is awesome. 400m easy walk from train station. Rooms are very clean and smoke free. Small lobby but don't let that deter you. We had two rooms booked for 10 pax. Very spacious both with a tatami style bedroom. Showers and toilets are small but doable. Big plus for me is the cleanliness and the supplied amenities like kitchenettes, microwave and washing machines with washing detergent supplied. Even gave recommendations for breakfast in the area for our big group. Highly recommend a stay here and enjoy your time at Kyoto.

I should have given 10 stars out of 5. Amazing and friendly staff. Great location (few mins walk from kyoto station), apartment kind family friendly rooms (microwave, stove and fridge) are the main drivers of the rating. Staff speaks English well and helps you over amd above when needed. Overall a fantastic stay

Rooms were huge, and extremely clean. We had around 6 large, 26' suitcases and 4 people, there's still plenty of room and then some. Location is fairly close to the main bus station at Kyoto Station, but also to some of the smaller stops like 東寺道, which is helpful since you'll always find a seat of the crowded bus. The staff members were extremely helpful, and are willing to help you with anything that you might need their help on. Will 120% be back next time we visit Kyoto.

Best for families. Roomy, clean, new. 5min walk from Kyoto station. Minutes walk from mall, restaurants and convince stores. Great value for money. Definitely one of the best hotels I stayed in Japan.

This is real gem and really family friendly hotel. The staff is nice and helpful and Yugo gets a golden star for his efforts in making our stay a top experience.

Near aeon mall... easy access to everywhere (kyoto station, bus station).. they rent games for kids to play.. the amenities and tools to cook are ready and complete.. love stay here and hopefully we can back again to kyoto (thanks yugo san)
