Ryokan Heianbou

The best place we've booked during our 2nd trip to Japan. Everything was excellent. The ryokan is in a great location just 5minutes walk from the JR station but in a very quite place so you don't hear noises from traffic etc.
The place itself is wonderful. You'll get the wi-fi only in a sitting room near the entrance, but it's not a big deal. The room is wonderful and clean, the hot-water onsen is very nice so we didn't use so much our bathroom.
Breakfast: the best we ever had in Japan. BEST MISO SOUP EVER. Remember to tell the staff the evening before and in the morning (better tell the exact hour because they prepare it just for you) you'll get the typical japanese breakfast.
Staff: it seemed to stay by your parents, and in fact it is a typical familiar ryokan. All were very nice and gentle, gave lots of advice and info to get to different places to visit.
Kyoto is again one Japan's most beautiful city: our preferred places were Fushimi Inari (again, you'll never get enough of it!) and I also enjoyed Ginkaku-ji.

Really great local ryokan run by a local Japanese family. Rooms are spacious and the futons are extremely comfortable! definitely recommend if you are visiting kyoto for a holiday. The breakfast is superb and hearty!

Simple n quiet Ryokan. Near the kyoto train station. The room we are in is good for 3 pax. We definitely stay with them again in future

I went there in 2009., inexpensive, near Kyoto station, with a friendly atmosphere.

What an experience !! It was divine : the food, the room, the bath .. everything !! (the cat of course)

Real experience of japan

駅から近いのに値段も高く無いのでたまに利用します。
和室が好きなので、部屋の感じも大好きです。
風呂なしのお部屋でも、4人ぐらいが入れるお風呂があるので気になりません。
今は分かりませんが、大手旅行サイトになく穴場なイメージです。

とても良かったです！
宿泊費がとてもお手頃というのはもちろんのことで、他にも京都駅に非常に近いというのが
利用しやすかったです。
駐車場は1台先着らしいですが、大きいものは厳しいとのこと。
宿の隣にはコインパーキングもあり、その周りにもコインパーキングが沢山あるので特に問題はなし。
しかし、宿のある道は幅が狭いため、車での侵入はオススメしないです。
朝ごはんもしっかりと取れるのでこれもありがたい。

Ryokan tradicional japonés. Habitaciones amplias, baño en la habitación y compartido. Atendido por sus dueños. Aire acondicionado, caja de seguridad, televisor, refrigerador, mesa don juego de te, aseo diario, etc. El mejor hotel en que he estado.
Desventaja: wifi solo en recepción, se cierra la puerta a las 00.00, desayuno 1000 yenes extra.

夜行バスで到着後、飛び込みで伺い偶然キャンセルがあったので即当日予約。5500円税別と安くてもホスピタリティが良くコスパ高い。是非リピートしたい旅館。

2回目の訪問です。京都駅のすぐそばにありながら、静かで風情のあるところです。旅館の方もとても親切です。必ずまた来ます。

もう三年前になってしまいますが、部屋も綺麗、女将さんも優しく、落ち着いた雰囲気を今でも覚えています。機会があればまた行きたいです。
