UNIQLO Kyoto Kawaramachi

I didn’t notice and accidentally dropped a banknote from my wallet, and a surveillance and security officer saw this on a video camera, found me on another floor and returned the money to me. Another time, the bracelet from my hand fell on the floor in the fitting room when I was trying on clothes and I didn’t notice it either, I returned the next day and asked “did they find the bracelet?” and they gave me back my loss. Thanks to the store staff for such a good job.)

Huge department store with a vast selection of products.

big shop , not crowded , there's an option where you can make your own personalised items like bags, t-shirts etc in a few minutes .

Needed some clothes for my 7YO daughter whilst holiday-ing in Japan, this store is great, lots of clothes for all ages.

Standard global pricing for H&M, the quality of the clothing seems quite good.

Keep your eye out for the clearance racks also, not sure if that’s a standard thing across all H&M stores however this store had a clearance rack of kids clothes with items marked down 50% when we visited.

Amazing selection and extremely affordable, compared to other clothing stores in Japan. I lost my clothing bag on a train, so we had to buy clothes early in the trip, and this chain store was such a great find!

The shop has 4 floors. All things are well stocked. Prices are cheap and tax can be deducted for large purchases if you bring your passport.

Staff is super friendly. Easy to navigate

I really like the customer service here. Today before the store closed, my brother and I were served at the counter by a very nice guy who spoke good English.

The prices are lower compared to European UNIQLO.

WOW! There are 11 (or twelve?) floors!!! I shopped A LOT there! Prices are much better than elsewhere, with many promotions.
The same jacket I bought in Singapore last year by 100 USD was costing half price there.

I think UNIQLO might be the best Japanese brand store for me, very good quality and affordable.

Great range of colours and styles, even if you are on the bigger size.

Crowded but well-organized store close to the main streets of Kyoto. Located on the B1-3rd floor of Mina, it also includes and special Kyoto section on the 3rd floor. Major credit cards accepted and is easily accessible from major subway and bus routes.

Two floors worth of selection, reasonable prices, and clothes that fit me (which is saying a lot since I'm very tall). After going through a dozen stores with XL jackets that were all way too small for me this was great.

There's a GU outlet here for the practical shopper but it's a one stop, mini department store which has more to offer for anything you should need. If you are in the area, check this place out before heading to the big department stores for all things Japanese.

Very cheap if you know where to look. Many items in the 390 to 990y range in the discount bin. Otherwise the GU shop upstairs cheaper overall for most items although materials slightly inferior.
