This is a very huge multi-storey electronic supermarket. They sell not only camera (based on the store naming), but lots of things you can find here.

From simple toys to advance electronic game consoles, camera, smartwatch, audio-video hifi, drones, starionery, cosmetics, home appliances, etc. Medium quality to high quality items available.

Definitely a fun place to look around and find something new. I could spend hours to explore fascinating items.

I had so much fun shopping at Yodobashi camera I made my wife come back a second time!

I found a very cool Seiko dive watch 38mm with a Japanese date wheel - seems like they are a premium Seiko seller as they had good prices compared to some other stores I saw as well as models I didn’t think I saw elsewhere.

The toy section was also awesome. Was able to find a model train of an actual train we took from nagano to Tokyo (I bought it haha) as well as a ‘88 Porsche 911 turbo model that I also bought. The yodobashi employee that was working in the hobby car toys section was SO kind to us as she helped us match the paints as well as cement to the kit and even helped me avoid buying something I couldn’t take on an airplane.

If you continue upstairs they have so many shoes and clothes and the dining on the top floor was also pretty good.

We got some sukiyaki after a long yodobashi session that was needed. I hope to be back here soon!!

Find everything you need, and so many more things that you just simply want!

Be sure to hit all five floors and go into the building hungry, you'll want to make it to the top floor and enjoy a tasty meal and one of the many wonderful restaurants waiting for you to order.

Electronics, games, music instruments, household goods and clothing. The store has everything!

Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time because you will most likely need it.

The camera selection here is huge!! They have many displays set up where you can interchange lenses on the cameras to test them out. It was amazing being able to gets hands on many lenses to see how they operate and feel. They have sony, canon, fuji, etc. There is also a small section of film available near the cashier section so keep an eye on that. Definitely check out this place and make sure to have plenty of free time. The vacuum section is also really cool. They have tiny piles of stuff in front of each vacuum so you can test.

On a recent visit to Japan I visited Yotabashi Camera located in Kyoto. Wow, Wow is all I can say about the staff that work there. They are hardworking, knowledgeable, customer service focused employees. Specifically I would like to thank Eihou Chin and his co-worker for going above and beyond by selling me a product I need. After my product was bought Eihou's coworker walked me to the nearest Police Station and later Eihou Chin came to help me fill in the Police Report. What wonderful service and great to see such dedication to customer service. Thank you!!!

I have tried calling the store but am not getting through as I wanted their Manager to be aware of the wonderful service these 2 young men gave me. :-)

What an excellent store. Several floors full of great products and the staff are excellent. I love Japan. Australia could learn a lot about the concept of service from the Japanese people.

Recommended to come here before you end your trip. We are accidentally bang into this place which allows us to buy all the goods that we need. They help to claim tax free.

If any manager or owner of this store reads this, I suggest you to turn off the speaker from time to time. It's too annoying. It makes you want to leave the store and not buy anything

It's a complex Japanese style mall; they don't just sell cameras but they do have an amazingly vast range of them. However, their wider varieties of sound products, sound instruments, and their accessories are more astonishing! I stopped counting at 200 varieties for yet the earbuds alone (earphones with mic. not yet counted). The restaurants on sixth floors could provides a fun selection for you for a few days at least.

What I love most is their "Gunpla" selection!!! I have to buy a whole new suitcase just for them. It's almost as good as going to a Gunpla convention!

HOWEVER, not just about everything I love, they don't have a single PS4 VR in stock, nor a PS4 camera. They do have a working demo one on display, but don't bother to ask about them in Japan. You could never buy the demo/display one(unless ...). I think it is Japanese proud policy of "never to sell the demo products" to an any all-willing and badly-wanting customer who is willing want to forego the product's warranty as the condition.

Just going a bit over the top here, "How can you call yourself a great camera store but you don't have neither a PS4 camera nor a XBox One camera for sell???". Answer that.

555 just kidding, luv De mall ya! But don't let it happen so often na. I, still, will come back here, every time I visit Kyoto krub! For the Gunpla of course! And for the Bose wireless speaker, next time. I already spent too much on Gunpla this trip. I think I almost complete all the unicorn Gunpla series, just 5 more! Thank you Yodobashi!
