The hotel close with train station and bus station. There is underground access In front of the hotel to the train station.
Close with Lawson mart.
And there is elevator at bus station. No worries for the big luggage

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Kyoto train station and bus stops. I loved how convenient it was to find meals and do some shopping, thanks to its proximity to the department store. While the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained. A great choice for anyone visiting Kyoto!

We stayed here in June 2023 and I must say this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The location is across the street from Kyoto Station, and not only trains but also buses and subway are right here. The staff was extremely helpful with the room, laundry, and receiving our bags from a Tokyo hotel. Front office staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed and large. Tokyo Tower is steps away and there is a good breakfast restaurant across the street. Highly recommended.

This hotel was perfectly located for a visitor! I had easy access to the bus and train stations. I was directly across from the Hop On Hop Off Tour buses! There was also a food mall to my immediate left in addition to the restaurants attached to the hotel and the convenience store across the street. I would 100% stay here again!

Right next to the train station so it made it very very easy to get around and right next to Kyoto tower making it easy to find. Tons of food nearby and some great bars as well!

Overall experience is great. Have bath tub with heater. Very good accommodation. Smoking area at the lobby. Kyoto station is just across, very easy to bring with you luggages. There is a restaurant in the hotel too. Convenient store is just across the street. Yodobashi Camera is just a few blocks away, can be walked around 5 minutes.

Across Kyoto station. Can use the underpass and exit at C6. Clean room. Some rooms have a tatami platform and you can request for futons.

Doors are abit thin though and when u walk in the corridor, you are able to heard ppl talking in the room. Still using old fashion key to unlock the room door.

Amazing. We found this hotel at quarter past midnight and were desperate for a place to stay... They still had staff at the reception desk and we were luckily able to check in. The hotel lobby was very posh looking and inviting, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean and tidy, the beds were the most comfortable we've slept in in Japan (and we've been here for 2 weeks), the bathroom was clean, and the hotel is literally opposite the train station. All in all, it was perfect. We only stayed one night, but will 100% stay here again when we visit Kyoto in the future. Thank you for being so wonderful.

It’s really hard to beat this hotel in terms of location and price. It’s right across the street from Kyoto Station, which is nice if you’re coming in late and tired from the rush of traveling. The front desk staff are all very friendly, and it’s always easy to find someone if you need help or a question answered. Our room had three single beds in it for three people and was very comfortable and clean. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Kyoto! :)

pick the Japanesque tatami style rooms if you can, and definitely try the Japanese breakfast option, its a great experience.

The hotel is just opposite to the Kyoto station . Very convenient location. Friendly staffs. Fast and easy check in and check out . Great room service. We left an empty water bottle little far from dustbin. When we came back it was not taken away. Then we found a note under it stating that they don't know what to do with the bottle 😊

Soo, awesome! Love love! Super nice, but they tend to segregate the foreigners for meals. Lol But they were nice enough to dispose of my broken luggage so, that's cool. They stay was brilliant, although, expect to hear random ambulances etc. Had a great time.

They were so so great. We had to make last minute changes to travel plans due to typhoon. We fat fingured our reservation to 4th September instead of 3rd. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Overall like all things Japan the place was spotless and the staff was very courteous

We had a great time here. The hotel is very conveniently located just across Kyoto Terminal with connection to buses and subways. Spacious rooms, great amenities, friendly staffs, will definitely come back here when visiting Kyoto again

Great hotel in very convenient location, right by Kyoto tower and JR station. Very clean rooms and super helpful staff. Japanese breakfast was amazing, western breakfast was very good as well. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay at Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto. Very conveniently located across from the station, staff were lovey and went above and beyond, rooms were clean and well appointed. Highly recommend.
