Holly’s Café - Shijo Muromachi

This Holly’s Cafe is located near major subway stations and on a major street in Kyoto. It has a great selection of breakfast sandwich and eggs and coffee. Breakfast is hard to find in japan as it is not common for Japanese to purchase breakfast, as they normally make their own at home. It is a relief to have Holly’s Cafe there to fill our bellies in the morning.
This location a quite large and I never had trouble finding a seat. There is a section in the back that is for smokers. I sat as far away from that section as possible and I did not smell the smoke.
I find that the food and coffee was quite good and I loved how I can sit next to the window and people watch while enjoying a coffee.

One of the best places to go during the New Year's holiday in Kyoto because when all restaurants are closed and even Sukiya has a 30 minutes queue, you can order pasta here and get it within 10 minutes.
A must go!

Nice place, not too crowded, large area to sit. Wifi and internet for work. Prime location. Various menu. Kind staffs.

Very ample place. Tasty sandwiches and cold brew coffee. I recommend this cafe not just for coffee break but also for simple and quick breakfast.

Amazing toast and egg set plate. It’s simple, but really has the perfect diner ambiance. Nice, calming music and wonderful service. Love it and can’t wait to come back!!

Great food and coffee with a view!

Great location! Got off Kansai International airport limousine bus 🚌 and went straight in to reenergize after the long flight and bus ride.
Delicious pastries and sandwiches 🥪! Good coffee ☕! However it’s smoky with smokers and the smelly bathroom needed quick clean up!

Large cafe, huge smoking area. Great coffee, the toast and boiled egg is a great snack. Comfortable seats, tables not close together.

A good place to spend your time here! Food and coffee prices are so fair, environment excellent!

店内はとても広くテーブル席の数は半端ない。
遅くまで開いてるのは有難い。
喫煙ブースあり。

関東では見かけないローカルカフェも味わってみようと、こちらに入店してみました。
ダッチコーヒーなるものがおすすめの様子。
詳しくはわかりませんが、水出しのコーヒーのようですね。
せっかくなので、注文しました。
味はすっきりで、雑味が少ないコーヒーでした。
暑い最中に、ごくごくと味わいたい感じです。

店内は、思いのほか広くて、びっくりしました。

老若男女、色々な方がいらしゃって、地元民に愛されているお店な感じがしましたよ。

また立ち寄りたくなるカフェでした。

とにかく、朝早くからやってるのがありがたい。四条烏丸近辺ではココだけだと思う。真夏で朝から暑いが、店内のクーラーは良く効いていた。
喫煙室もあるが、10卓も離れているが、タバコ臭いのは1つ開けて隣のおっちゃんからの匂いかな？それだけが気になった。モーニングが410円〜

1人で入りやすいです。
リーズナブル、店内広いから、ゆっくりできます。

店内から月鉾山の組み立て作業が見えます。
もちろんコーヒーもパンケーキも安定の美味しさです。
