Amazing staff, very polite and they talk both japanese and english.

We walked into this bar after a few hours of walking, exhausted and hungry/thirsty.

I have to say we could not have chosen a better bar.

Tourist friendly but also with a Local flair, this Father/Son duo made us feel very welcome, gave us great travel recommendations and the Karaage is to die for, it is so melt-in-your mouth good.

Exceptionally nice and English speaking staff and relaxed atmosphere with conventional seating and sunken Japanese style seating. Fantastic place to have an ice cold beer after making the hike down from the temple. Owner have us tips on where to get the best noodles :-)

Great place to stop for a beer or a glass of wine whilst exploring Kyoto. This is a hidden gem with authentic Japanese decor and relaxing music.... the owners Paul and Mitch are the perfect hosts... thanks again guys !

A beautiful place in a beautiful place. I ordered traditional Japanese Green Tea and waited inside for a summer storm to pass by. Very traditional environment that also caters to western tastes. Really great.

Great food, atmosphere, and free WiFi. Staff is English friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this cozy Cafe to anyone walking through. I'll come back again next time I'm in the area!

A very pleasant place to have a well-priced drink and watch the passers-by. The owner is awesome: speaks English and is a pleasure to converse with.

Best place to take rest near Kiyomizudera.

Perfect stop between Kiyomizu and Gion for a beer or wine. Great hospitality for weary (sweaty) travelers making their way down the hill.

Sehr nettes Personal und guter Wein.
Wir wurden bei der Bestellung missverstanden und sollten frittiertes Geflügel anstatt Rotwein bekommen. Das bereits vorbereitete Essen wurde uns kostenlos mitgegeben, obwohl wir es bezahlen wollten, und es schmeckte hervorragend. Die frittierten Hähnchenteile waren knusprig und die Mayonnaise schmeckte herrlich nach Zitrone. Beim Spaziergang durch Kyoto zu empfehlen.👌🏼
