Excellent location close to a Subway station and in a neighborhood with lots of bakeries, cafés and restaurants. The Ryokan is also not far from Teramachi and all department stores. The entrance is quite impressive with waters, rocks etc. Room was very big, typically Japanese and with many convenient amenities (e.g. automatic boiler, fresh water). The public bathrooms were great. Staff was extremely polite and helpful every instance. Kaiseiki dinner and breakfast were excellent. The only negative point was perhaps the dining room which was not very traditional (tatatmi with western-height chairs).

Wonderful traditional Ryokan, 10/10 would recommend again. Staff here is very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. Sentō (public bath) is nice, rooms are great for traditional experience (but beware, traditional Japanese guestrooms have you sleeping on special futons where you're basically on the floor!). I only had the Japanese-style breakfast, which was great, but they also have a Western-style breakfast. Location is fairly close to the Gion geisha district, and right around the corner from a beautiful temple.

コロナ渦で大変な時にあれこれ工夫されたのか、入浴付き昼食で予約したらお出迎えから皆さんきっちり、お部屋も素敵、お風呂も貸し切り、露天風呂付きと楽しませていただきました。お料理もコースで、素材も良くコスパ最高！二度うかがったけど何度でも行きたい。

お料理やサービス、雰囲気はよかったです。唯一、机と椅子の高さがあってなかったので辛かったのが難点でした
