Yakiniku Hiro (Kyoto Station)

Six years ago, we discovered Yakiniku Hiro and had the great Wagyu beef during our trip. This year, we happen to find this Hiro restaurant next to our hotel and didn't hesitate to walk in. Luckily, there was a spot for two, and the delicious food transported us back to the delightful days with my husband in 2017. The flavors remain exceptional, creating a wonderful experience.

This place is great. Fully packed even on a Wednesday evening. Will be good to reserve in advance. Bought the recommended set and drink. Beef set is good, so is the service there. They offer delectable appetiser, warm tea and towels.

It is very cost effective and food there is fabulous. It is good that you make a reservation in advance.

We made reservations at 7:00pm but arrived earlier unfortunately this restaurant is too popular. We still need to wait till 7:00pm, suggest making reservations in advance.

The Japanese beef is so tasty and fresh, we tried the raw beef which is Yummy! The waitress was very friendly and spoke English, her name is 真菜 she assisted us for two dishes. Thank you so much! We enjoyed the meal!

Reasonable price, service not bad just some simple English still can't really handle very well, but is understandable. Their beef is awesome 🐄👍👌

Was finding a place to have dinner at 9:30pm, got rejected by two or three restaurants cause they are closing soon. Finally, this one isn't closing.

Therefore, my frd and I were not expecting anything here, luckily, the waiters and the food here a fantastic!! More importantly, fries is reasonable, recommend to the people who have their dinner late in Kyoto!

Having made our reservation from Hong Kong, my wife and I came here on March 30, 2018, after watching cherry blossoms at night. As we were not hungry, we ordered a light meat meal. Apart from its high-quality food, service was great and even mouthwash was available in the toilet!

Very very good quality beef for this price range. Alot better than most of tokyo’s normal yakiniku places. Service also very good! Just get the 6k set if you can’t understand the japanese menu. 6k set can feed 2 people well. Plus some orange cocktails. It is amazing man.

Probably the best yakiniku I've ever had. The location is really near Kyoto station. The taste, variety, and price everything perfect!

Good beef and excellent service! This place is very popular and busy. If you do not have a reservation, try getting there when they open the door at 5:00pm. The special menu with 10 variety of beef was amazing for two people. Each category was just a single bite but allowed us to try the variety.

Food, atmosphere and service is really value for money
