Kyōto Kita Post Office

I am a big fan of the Japanese Postal Service, and would go as far as saying that they are the best in the world! They are well-organized, fast, and have competitive prices.
Since moving to Kyoto the Kyotokita Post Office branch has become my local central post office, which means this is where I must go to whenever I get a slip from my mail-woman about a package that I was not home to receive.
The one thing worth noting about this specific branch is its operating hours. Compared to other local central Post Offices, the Kyotokita Post Office closes early (9PM on weekdays).

郵便物について電話で相談した所、とても丁寧に対応していただきました。
郵便物と一括りに言っても色んな方がいるのだと思いますが、私は説明が上手くないにも関わらず親身になっていただいて感謝しています。

窓口でこんなに親切で丁寧な対応をして頂いたのは初めてです。フロア案内の方も手続き窓口の方もゆっくり丁寧でした。正直感動しました。

迅速な対応。

今日ゆうちょ銀行のフロアに居られた案内係のお姉さん。
とても手際よく親切で笑顔もよく書類の書き方も教えていただきお姉さんに関しては★5つです。
事務処理はかなり待ち時間長かったのですが…その時もフロアのお姉さんの優しい気遣いで気持ちよく待てましたが…そこまで混んでないのに待ち時間かなり長すぎて残念。
