自分はかなり荒れていた1980年代～1990年代に当校を入学・卒業しました。特にトイレや自転車置場や体育館の周辺では不良の溜り場でタバコの臭いは当たり前でした。今、問題となっているいじめは私も経験しました。いじめを受けたAに弁当を食わされるわ、授業の邪魔をされるわ、差別的な発言をされるわ、暴力は日常茶飯事で体がボロボロになるわ、精神的に追い込まれました。保護者に何も言わず我慢して難を乗り越えてここまでたどり着いた事に今でも驚いています。いじめは全国では増加しつつ改善の傾向が経っていません。今の東中は平和な学校生活を送っているかと思います。いじめや学級崩壊のない素晴らしい学校になる様、期待しています。
