This is the inner most part of the kifune shrine (not the one with lanterns on both sides). Absolutely beautiful scenes. It may take a while to hike up - and warning for those who drive - the paths were narrow and with lots of traffic. The parking spots were limited as well.

Small shrine surrounded by forest. There's a lot of seating. You can relax here if you're going alone

Visit around in Tanabata season of July. It is very mystical at night. You also see giant cedar lining up around here. ( TGM Kyoto )
