I adore this bakery! my favourites are the sandwiches, they do NOT cut off the edges which I love and their other sandwich breads have a nice, airy quality about them. another favourite of mine is the curry hot dog. the dough they make is a bit tougher than other places, the style is certainly more rustic but that's exactly why I like it so much, it comes closer to bread in other places in Europe that are not France.

Kyoto's best bakery; hidden gem. I stumbled across Brother Bakery by accident at 10am when it just opened and got pulled in by the fresh bread smell. Ended up buying 3 different pastries and so far the best bread I've had in Japan

Loved their an pan (red bean buns) that's baked to perfect golden brown.

The most incredible pastries I have ever had! Highly recommend the olive and tomato bread, the berry cheesecake tart and potato/cheese roll

From Tokyo to Osaka to Hiroshima and to find this Bakery in Kyoto it was absolutely fantastic-delicious-fresh and just an awesome variety of deliciousness!!!!
Everything is baked in the morning when we arrived and got us packed up for a tour of the city! Would highly recommend visiting. Bravo to the lovely lady who served us for the many visits 👍🙌🇯🇵

As a French woman addicted to croissants and having my habits in the best boulangeries of Colmar and Strasbourg, this have nothing to envy to a good French Bakery. The amount of butter is perfect, the outside is perfectly crispy, the inside is soft and preserved. My tastes are more enclines to less cooked croissants but it's my personnal taste.
I recommand this Bakery! 🥐

Worth a detour if you are anywhere nearby - mid-price with an unusual and tasty range of breads and cakes. I had a blue cheese pizza bread with walnuts and honey, and it was so good that I tried to go back and buy another one (sold out, sadly).

We became big fan of this bakery while staying Kyoto for 4 days. Except for Sunday( the shop was off), we grabbed breakfast here. All the breads were so tasty. We recommend honestly every bread. The next time we come back to Kyoto, we wanna come back here as well! Gochisousamadeshita !!

Best pizza roll I've ever had, perfect crust e crumb.
