Enza Cafe

Great little spot in a really nice snowy small town mountain setting. You can start off here and load up before heading towards the Snow Monkey park or end here before you leave with some lunch or coffee. We tried the Ramen and the apple pie (which seems to be a specialty) and both were really good. Beer and coffees were fantastic too. Staff really friendly and helpful as well!

We could not walk past the apple pies in the glass cabinet. They were flakey, filled with custard and apple, delicious. You can sit inside under heat lamps, they even have cute little blankets to put over your knee.
Well worth the visit. Wish I had know about the marshmallow monkey in the coffee before I ordered a hot chocolate. Way too cute.

Recommended the apple ice cream, triangular-shaped apple “pie”, pizza… would give the salad wraps a miss the next time. i preferred mine with more Zingggg or Zesssst, but maybe others would prefer the most natural taste, which you would get.

We took 2 kinds of wraps, one with chicken and one with tamago. Both delicious but the wasabi souce for the egg one was better.
We also took the hot apple juce which warmed us up, but was a little too sweet for our taste.
The apple pie we took at the end was amazing, with custard and apples inside. Also the ice cream tastes a little like apples and it was delicious 😍

I love this place. I visited there on the 1st January and needed some quick hungover remedy after MRY party, and their miso ramen was magic. I had some hot wine too.
It was very good but for obvious reasons I couldn't finish it haha
But most importantly the staff were very lovely and made me feel welcomed (om a single traveller and very limited Japanese).
10/10 place. Must try when visiting the monkeys or onsen!

We love their apple pie with apple ice cream. It is very delicious and not too sweet. The shop owner explained that their apple pie has no sugar. Their chicken broth ramen is also good. Nice environment in the wood.

Eating a bowl of hot ramen after treking to see the snow monkey is the best feeling. Their pizza is also delicious, a thin dough base and very cheesey.

If you like cutesey drinks please try their snow monkey coffee / latte. You will get a sweet marsmallow of monkey taking a dip in your drink. Very cute.

After visiting Snow Monkey Park, we were hungry, so we headed to the restaurant right by the parking lot. It had good reviews, so we were curious if it lived up to the hype. Since we've been craving fresh veggies since arriving in Japan, we ordered the vegetarian wrap stuffed with green salad, tomato, and cucumber. I hardly ever eat wraps, but this one tasted delicious. Then, I also ordered apple pie served with ice cream and hot chocolate (which I don't normally drink). Everything was amazing! Even the sweet hot chocolate tasted great. Or maybe I just needed sugar. ;) The service was excellent, of course! There are both outdoor and indoor seating options. We opted for outdoor seating on the sunny day. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a fantastic spot with delicious food.

Food was great. I didn't expect a cafe in the tourist area to have such good flavoured food. We ordered a pizza and spicy ramen. Both are delicious. It was crowded around 1 pm but we didn't wait for too long for the food to be served. The pizza is definitely on the small side and more like an appetizer. So if you are hungry, order two.

I opted for the miso ramen, while my brother and mom tried the apple pie, fried chicken, and spicy ramen. Our drinks included hot chocolate and green tea. You can dine in or hit the corner outside. We've done both and it depends on how much time you want to spend and if you want a full meal or not. The seating is very comfortable and it's a great place to hang out on your way in or out of the monkey park. The apple pie is everything the other reviews say it is. We have enjoyed many other menu items and beverages. Highly recommend!

One of the more expensive meals I had in Japan, but it was so worth it. I think it was my favourite ramen I had in Japan and the apple pie was also really nice. I think I had spicy chicken miso ramen and it was hard not to order second bowl.

Had some extremely good ramen here before heading up to the snow monkeys, staff were very friendly as well. Prices are a bit higher but somewhat expected for such a touristy destination.

I was worried this would be a tourist trap without good food, I was wrong! Everything was sooo tasty! It does cost more but the location is worth it! We tried a variety of items and loved them all. 💕 (also they take credit cards and have English menus!)

Gorgeous cafe with really nice food and drinks. Pricing is sharp (at least by Aussie standards) and the drinks are generous.

The ginger drink is nice and strong make sure you stir it before. The (brewed) coffee is robust and full of flavour.

The ramen was really tasty but I loved the "pizza" the most. The vegetables (particularly the mushrooms), were expertly paired with a soft cream cheese sauce (marscapone?) And it worked really well.

Wow!! Hard to get Halal food around. finally found one at this location. The food was awesome and the service was excellent.

Lovely restaurant. The Apple Pie and Apple Ice Cream are delicious. As was the French fries , egg wraps and pizza.

The ramen was really delicious and good in quantity. I think the best place to eat near the monkey park. Also it's halal.
