Cafe Otowa

Absolutely delightful. A little ways away from the overly crowded bits of Gion. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and portion. Space also doubles as a gallery and there was a really cool photography exhibit when we visited. If you sit in the back you can get a good view of the rooftops and bamboo in the neighborhood. I think the water feature is turned on in the summer.

Very friendly staff, delicious food and good atmosphere! Even though Kiyomizo-dera was very crowded the Café wasn't crowded at all. Would recommend if you need a break from the crowd.

This was a nice find with reasonable prices compared to nearby restaurants and really tasty food. The atmosphere was nice as well. We got the sukiyaki don which came with some pickles and soup. I’d come back again.

Very berry goood, the matcha parfait is very delicious and full of surprise, everything blends very well. And the matcha kakigori also very nice, good for the summer.

A very good spot in the middle of the crowd to drink or eat. Japanese curry was very good.

If you need to chill this is the perfect place

너무 더워서 땀좀 식히려고 들어갔습니다. 빙수만
시켜 먹었습니다. 기본 빙수 🍧에요! 핸드폰 충전도 하고 덕분에 쉬원하게 있다 나갔습니당!

雰囲気もとても良く、ごはんもとてもおいしかったです。
ただ混んでいたので店員さんの気遣いはなく、チクチクした対応でした。
申し訳なく、あまり言いたくないですがコーヒーは酸味が強すぎて、腐ってる？となるお味でした。（個人の感想です）
でも、ごはんはとてもおいしいのでまた行きたいです。

落ち着いた良いお店だね☺午後２時頃、少し遅めの昼食で入ったんだけど、結構席が埋っていたなぁ😉カレーを食べたかったんだけど、もう品切れで、残念ながら食べられなかったんだよ😢それで、鳥そぼろのオトワライスを食べたんだけど、美味しかったなぁ😃飲み物もデザートも充実していて、大満足だったよ🤗和服姿の外人さんも、結構入っていて、色んな言葉が聞こえたけど、皆さん結構小さな声で話していたので、全然気にならなかったよ😉マナーの良い人達ばかりだったなぁ😃

ご飯の上に湯葉＆トロトロの餡？がかかった湯葉丼！
生姜がきいててとても美味しかったです！
値段もお手頃でよかったです☺

清水寺近くの素敵な空間の落ち着くカフェ。
盆栽のオブジェの席がお気に入り♡
BGMの選曲がこれまた良くて、
この辺りに来たら必ず寄ります。
カレーがめっちゃ美味しい♡
ちいさいハンバーガーのセットもおすすめ。

Nice Cozy cafe near by Kiyomizu Temple. Good Curry and rice and good coffee there.
