We were greeted with a friendly smile and refreshing tea. I especially loved the kuzukiri and the warabi mochi, which paired exceptionally well with the matcha.

Delicious warabi mochi and great service!

We tried the hojicha warabi mochi which was super soft/stretchy, lightly sweet, and with a strong hojicha flavour. As someone who was indifferent towards regular mochi before, this completely changed my mochi attitude - this warabi mochi was wildly superior in both the balanced taste and soft texture. We also tried the yuzu ice cream, was refreshing and tart.

Furthermore, the guy running the shop was extremely kind. Even though the menu says that each person had to order one item each, he allowed us to share 2 items between 4 people, and even gifted service (free samples of another equally delicious product).

The fresh warabi mochi was 700 yen for 5 pieces, which was definitely worth the price.

Enjoyed my time there. I had ordered their wasabon from hibiki-an online and had to stop by when I was in Kyoto to pick up more. The shop proprietress greeted us warmly. We had a quick tea break from our walk and omg the warabi mochi we had was amazing. Sadly tlwarabi mochi only lasts 3 days or I would have gotten some for gifts. Do also try the stuffed honeyed yuzu. That was a surprise treat. Went amazingly well with tea.

Very nice place to enjoy Japanese desserts in the middle of tourists spots. Warabi mochi was soft. Matcha was nice.

Delicious Japanese dessert. Felt like I was eating pillows of clouds. Green tea was strong but it wasn't bitter! So glad I went and checked it out!

Great Taste of Japanese Food

４人がけテーブル３つしかない少し狭めの店内ですが、坂道で疲れた体を癒すには十分でした。
抹茶セットのわらび餅と栗いりぜんざいとグリーンティーをいただきましたが、どちらもほどよい甘さで、苦味のある抹茶と相まって美味しかったです。個人的にはもう少し濃いめの抹茶が良かったくらいでした。

清水寺からの帰り暑さに負けてふらっと立ち寄りました。
ほうじ茶かき氷がほうじ茶の粉末がかかっていて、芳ばしくて、甘さもちょうどよく、氷も細かくて滑らかで最高でした。
濃茶につけてくれた黒蜜藁もちがモチモチしてとっても美味しくて、お土産用を購入したら、出来立てのものをパッキングしてくれて持って帰れました。

清水寺附近的和菓子店。
店內位置不多，大概12個座位，平日下午去時沒有排隊就能入座。
店員奶奶很親切。
蕨餅很好吃，配抹茶很搭，也有挫冰、咖啡等其他選項。
店內也有販賣伴手禮，很有特色的一間店。

友人と京都日帰り旅😊夕方 もう辺りは薄暗くなってましたが、帰りに立ち寄り食べた黒糖のわらび餅！きな粉も沢山でとても美味しかったです😋これは家族にも食べさせてあげたいと、追加でお持ち帰りしました😋
お抹茶も非常に上品でまた飲みたいです！

清水寺に続く、ちゃわん坂の途中に局屋立春さんはあります。静かな佇まいですが、いつ訪ねても暖かくおもてなしいただき、心地よい雰囲気のなか絶品のわらび餅をいただけます。小休止にぴったりなおすすめのお店です。

某ホテルのラウンジで抹茶体験に付いている干菓子です。
嫌な甘さが全くなく　口の中でサラッと溶ける感じがとても良いです。

季節ごとに替わる練りようかん、作りたての黒糖わらび餅が絶品。お抹茶セットがオススメです。ヤカンでお茶も出してくれるし、スタッフさんみんな親切。観光シーズンは人気のお店だそうです。
