Terrace Kiyomizu Kyoto

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were all very friendly.

We arrived late, around 1:00AM, their doors are locked at 12:00AM for security reasons, however they have a convenient QR code that you can scan to call them using their WIFI to ask them to help you with late check-in. The hotel staff biked down and checked us in.

The hospitality we experienced was second to none and I would highly recommend this place. Not only is it close to Kiyomizu-dera, it is also one bus away from Kyoto station, so you get to experience the quiet serenity of Kyoto while having the convenience of connecting to a central hub.

Amazing staff, spotless room. I had an amazing stay at Kyoto with Terrace Kiyomizu Kyoto. The staff are so helpful and informative. They also have free coffee and hot tea. This is certainly the best hotel I have stayed at in recent years.

This Hotel is located in Higashimaya ward area. (Location, location, location and great value). It’s a 10 min walking distance to Kiyomizu- dera temple. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating to your needs.
There is a laundry room on the roof top floor, with tables and seating area with a great view that looks at the temple or Kyoto tower. We stay 7 nights and will definitely coming back and stay here again.

Checking out tomorrow and the stay here has been absolutely lovely. The hotel is clean, modern, and charming with excellent Wi-Fi and free drinks via a small kitchenette in reception. The staff are so kind and helpful - one of our party required a visit to a hospital and the gentleman on duty helped us with a taxi and information of how to access medical services in Japan. The hotel is also ideally situated for both Kyoto train station and the temples of Higashiyama. The roof terrace is another lovely feature - would most definitely recommend.

The rooms are medium-sized, perfect for a couple.
The facilities as are expected, with a small self-service area on the ground floor.

This hotel has everything you need, and is extremely close to many popular sites. It was affordable, clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. I will be staying here every time I'm in Kyoto.

A wonderful place with wonderful, super helpful staff. There's a lovely little lobby (pictured) with lots of seating and manga to read, and free drinks available.
The location is great and in walking distance to many attractions and cafés/restaurants. The local bus stop is less than a five minute walk down the road too, which is a great help to get you around. Alternatively, you can ask the front desk to call a taxi which we did to take us back to the train station (about a 30 minute walk).

Great hotel in the heart of Gion. Will definitely be staying here again!

Highly recommended - walking distance from bus stop and train (not JR line). Rooms are very spacious and in typical Japanese style shoes must be removed. The only con was that the bed was very hard, but overall our stay was great. Launderette upstairs on the rooftop (you have to pay). Lovely views from the rooftop.

Great location. Very quiet. Love our clean cozy room. Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. Looking forward to going back again!

everybody's been so kind , the japonese word ""shinsetsuna "" is right ,very gracieux , everyone with a beautiful smile , this hotel has a very good position , easy to thind close to buses , good position to the Kiyomizudera just perfect to enjoy the city of Kyoto

기요미즈데라 올라가는 길 처음에 있어서 아침마다 청수사로 걸어서 산책이 가능합니다.
룸 컨디션도 아주 좋았고요.
리셉션 직원들도 아주 친절하셨습니다.
다만 택시로 가실 때에는 교통체증이 심하니 숙소까지 가지 마시고 버스정류장 등 숙소 근처에서 내린 뒤 걸어가시는게 좋습니다.

숙소 고를때 청결도를 제일 중요하게 생각하는데 여기는 되게 깨끗했어요. 4일 머무르면서 수건교체, 청소도 너무 잘해주셨고 직원분들이 굉장히 친절합니다. 위치상으로도 기요미즈데라, 산넨자카, 니넨자카랑 가까워서 편했어요. 교토역이랑 시내랑은 거리가 좀 있지만 숙소 1~2분 앞에있는 버스장류장에서 206번 버스타고 쉽게 이동했습니다. 체크아웃 시에 너무예쁜 쿠키 선물도 주셨어요. 숙소 사진을 못찍었는데 물 잘나오고, 변기 물도 잘 내려가고 침대 편하고(한번도 안깨고 잠) 1층에 어메니티 무료로 다 있어요. 테라스에서 술이랑 컵라면 취식도 가능해요. 추천합니다.

Sono molto soddisfatta di aver prenotato in questo albergo per il mio primo viaggio a Kyoto. Posizione ottima, vicinissimo al Kiyomizu-dera. Camera molto carina, munita di tutto il necessario.
Il rooftop dell’hotel ha una splendida vista, si vedono in lontananza il Kiyomizu-dera e la Kyoto Tower.
Ho apprezzato molto lo staff che si è dimostrato sempre molto gentile e disponibile. Anche i servizi sono ottimi, come il distributore gratuito di bevande calde e fredde, l’area lavanderia, essenziale per chi fa un lungo viaggio.
