Rainy when we went but still worth the trip. Enjoyed the visit despite short hours. The Mountain View was breathtaking. My senior parents also had a place to stay and enjoy at the top while we did some activities. Definitely would revisit in the future!

This is the resort to be at on a powder day. Plenty of fresh lines to be had.
Try to pre purchase tickets, as the line for the ticket office and gondola was a nightmare (There is a chairlift out of the bottom, but wasn’t running).
New gondola appears to be under construction so might alleviate this line issue.
Topside is beautiful and had a toboggan area for kids, and off lead dog area too!
Perfect for non skiers/sightseeing and skiers alike.

Scenic views at the top. It's worth it. Even if you are not interested in snowboarding or skiing. You can just go there and enjoy the views in winter. The cable car is 2100¥ 2 ways. There is a nice coffee shop too. A woo hoo swing , igloo etc (Winter)

It is a very nice place to visit in all seasons. The top of the mountain is easily reachable using the cable car. There are many restaurants at the top of the mountain offering a wide variety of food. The view is absolutely stunning. Dogs, including large breeds, are welcome to visit the mountains. There is a dog run and trails accessible by dogs. There are many outdoor activities such as mountain biking that can be done here. Definetely worth a visit.

Honestly was my favorite mountain out of all in the Hakuba area. Was not crowded in the morning and had superbly beautiful views at the top. Also had really fun quick burst red runs and green runs for beginners

One of the hidden gems of the Hakuba Valley. One of the last resorts to get tracked out and usually less busy on the weekends. Iwatake has the best views on the valley with panoramas of both the front and back side from the top of the gondola.

Iwatake also boasts the best mountain biking in the valley during the summer.

Very fun mountain, wide long runs that are perfect for beginners, as well as advanced. Shame it didn't have much coverage because of the current lack of snow, but it would be incredible on a powder day.

Usually I love this resort but they've been slow to open the park this year. I give it 5 stars because they've got a great tree run course called plus alpha. Super fun backcountry feel but with a lift. 😊

Great mix of runs for beginners and experts alike! Super friendly staff and reasonably priced to boot. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere a little less crowded than the big Happo one.

if you take only the gondola, you can enjoy a really long slope, it´s fun, the snow quality it´s awesome! You can find some cheap places for eat, but nothing fancy!

My favourite field in hakuba so far. We came on a day where it was snowing so heavily; wonderful slopes. Side banks to do jumps, wide open fields to carve. Will be back!

Great little Mtb Park. Not really technical but fun at slightly over your own comfort zone speed. The crew at Spicy Rental are great with bikes and being patient with Aussie accent Japanese.

I highly recommend to visit Hakuba off-season. It’s a stunning place with incredible views and autumn colors!!! I don’t understand why people don’t visit it in autumn... this is a popular ski resort, but I think it’s even more beautiful in autumn

Powder snow was great! The routes were also extremely fun and well balanced - there are short and easy routes for beginners, as well as long and slightly challenging routes for intermediates, and also very challenging advanced routes.

The routes are really adventurous even though for the beginner. It was super awesome place. You also can stay there at nearest accommodation. But the staffs are not so many i think.

Super fun little resort. Epic pow, playful parks. Elevator music plays to keep you calm while ascending on sans safety-bar chairlifts 😋

More blue bird days in the Hakuba valley, this montain was great with a lot of variety. The snow park was great, the tree runs were great, the lifts were great and the whole setup was great!

It’s a smaller one than the other mountains around here but I think this one has great slides for snowboarders and we had a fun time here!
