Idemitsu Shigakogen Kanbayashi SS

I wish I have remembered the gas station attendant name who helped us when we got stranded in winter storm there. He installed for us chains in deep snow, helped to park the car in safe parking lot - yes we had to purchase chains, otherwise we couldn't move at all.
He called us a taxi, stayed with us till 9pm although they close at 7pm. He is truly kind, not just superficially polite.
The best part- categorically refused to take a tip.

When we went to Japan in 2017, the kitty at this gas station was the highlight of our trip -super friendly and talkative, even climbing up on me so that I could hold him/her. To this day we often think about Nekochan. A very big thank you to the owner for letting us use the bathroom.

レンタカーのエンジンオイルの警告が出てしまい、補給の対応をお願いしました。給油のタイミングが合わず給油できなかったのが悔やまれる…というくらい、優しく対応頂きました。オイルだけですみません、とても助かりました〜

バイクで山を下って空気圧が心配になったので立ち寄りました。
ガソリンは入れなかったけど快く対応していただき、子連れ猫さんもかわいい。
入りやすい給油所ですよ。

湯田中渋温泉郷から志賀高原／草津温泉へ向かう際の、最終ガソリンスタンドです。

人懐っこい“ネコチャン”が居て、店の方も優しい笑顔で対応してくれました。
ネコチャンと遊んでいて写真を撮るのを忘れてしまいました(残念❗)。

とても親切なガスステーション。志賀に行くならここで給油するのが最後なのでおすすめです。

One of the gas stations I visit on a nearly yearly basis while making my Pacific Ocean to Sea of Japan motorcycle ride. Very friendly staff and locals too, who's curiosity is raised when they where I had ridden from. Always had a lovely experience here. 👍🏻

Need to walk in the forest abt 1.8 km.. Nice view while walking in the snow time..

給油高いです平均より20円、この先にも給油所有ります。

この地域では珍しく手洗い洗車をして呉れる。店員もきびきびしていて気持ち良く迎えてくれます。

「ネコチャン」見たさに行ってみたけれど、いませんでした('_')
お店の方は丁寧に対応してくれ、これから上る峠道がワクワクになりましたっ☆彡
