Tell Madaba Hotel

Fantastic hotel! This hotel was an unexpected gem. Not only is it clean and very comfortable but Edward and his mother are charming, delightful and extremely helpful. They go out of their way to make sure their guests have an enjoyable visit. The mother’s home cooked breakfasts were a highlight of our trip. The location couldn’t be better for walking to the main tourist sites. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly.

What a fantastic family run hotel! It’s been said to be the best family guest house in the world, and you can see why. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was superb. But what makes this so great are the nicest family that owns this place. Arriving at 1am one of the family members said that we must be hungry (we were) and asked us if we wanted him to order some food for us (which we did). Very nice and cozy place :) Spacious room equipped with everything you need. Tea / coffee / water available in the common area. The best breakfast I had in Jordan! So much choice and everything home made! A small garden where you can eat your lunch, they also have a terrace on the roof with a view to the entire city. You can park your car on the street in front. The owners are very friendly, I felt there like at home :) You can contact them via whatsapp. There was no problem for me to check in very late in the evening, I could also leave my luggage after check out. Location in a walking distance to all cites. Definitely recommended!

This place is magical. We arrived late at night and they were waiting for us. We were treated very kindly. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable and the bed was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was authentic Jordanian, very tasty. If you go to Madaba, I recommend this place 100%. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very comfortable hotel, situated in the center and close to the airport (20 minutes ). The hosts really made us feel at home. And… we ‘ve had the best breakfast ever. Please stay in this hotel. Great value for money!!!!!!!

Very nice place. Clean, room is spacious, bed is comfortable. At brekafast, a variety of local and standard food, fruits, real coffee. The location is very convenient. Main sightseeings are in a walking distance, also there are many cafes and restaurants to any budget. Most important are the hosts. Munira and her family are friendly, caring, and warm people. You feel yourself as if you came to visit your family. Highly recommend to stay there.

True home away from home! Very hospitable hosts, absolutely clean rooms fitted with attention to detail. Edward gave us great advices on how to plan out time wisely while in Madaba. His mom cooked perfect breakfast with variety of local specialties. It is the best hotel we have stayed at in Jordan. Great location: within 5 minutes' walking distance from the churches, 35-minutes' drive from the Dead Sea and around 20 minutes to mount Nebo as well as to the airport. Highly recommend this place! The stay at this hotel is an amazing experience and great memory in itself.

One of the top accommodations we had in Jordan. Family owned, so there's very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, including a nice sitting outside and a cute cat. You can get drinking water or tea/coffee for free in the kitchen and breakfasts are amazing. Rooms are quite nice and very clean.

I loved my stay here and wish I was there for longer. The hotel is a small family run business. Well appointed rooms with all the amenities. The best part was the amazing breakfast! We were visiting in February when it was chilly. Rooms are warm and cozy with very comfortable beds. Edward is very helpful. We arrived late after picking up our rental and Edward stayed up for us. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Madaba.

The best hotel in Madaba, very clean, very beautiful rooms, biiiiig beds and a wonderful host Eduard! If you need to stay in Madaba, do not use another hotel! And trust me, I have been here 3 times, the first 2 did not discover this hotel and I regret!

It was a pleasure to stay with the nice family of edward. Home made stuff for breakfast from his mum. The rooms are not modern but you have a got everything you need.
The atmosphere is great, like if you visiting friends and family. Good location. 7-8 min. Walk to the church and visitor Center. We will come back!

A lovely hotel in all ways. Family-owned snd run, and very friendly sand helpful. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable (with effective aircon!). Some nice outside areas to sit in for the evening. Free access to tea and coffee in the kitchen to help yourself. An outstanding breakfast in the morning. Easy parking and easily walkable intop the centre for sights/restaurants.

It was so good I changed my plans the next day and came back to Madaba to check back in again.

Very friendly and helpful host with his family. Room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Close to the city center. Huge parking lot and places to park your vehicle on the street. Delicious and traditional breakfast, plenty of dishes available. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you once again for our stay. We fully recommend this place.

Staying at Tell Madaba feels like you’re a cherished guest. Room was clean and comfortable and I had the best time trying different local dishes during breakfast.

Centrally located so it was an easy walk to see the sights (which was helpful because it was raining when I was there).

Recommended if you’re looking into spending time in Madaba. Edward also helped to arrange transportation for me as I was travelling to a few places. Thanks Edward.

The hotel is well located and beautifully mantained. We had two double rooms - both spacious, nicely decorated and with very comfortable beds. We appreciated the option to heat the rooms with the AC. The shower had hot water with great pressure. We loved the backyard - so intimate and quiet - the perfect place for our morning coffee. The breakfast was simply amazing; we’re not usually breakfast people but the spread was impressive and everything so delicious! We were traveling with our three small kids and everyone was kind and attentive with them. Edward helped us with planning our visit to the Dead Sea, which turned out great based on his recommendation. However the best part was by far the feeling of visiting friends instead of the standard arid hotel stay. Edward and his mom allowed us a glimpse into the lives of real jordanian people and we very much enjoyed our talk. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon!

It is a family home very very welcoming. They are a catholic family in Jordan. They are all very very nice to the guests. Rooms are basic but have e erything you need. And the breakfast was the best we had in Jordan. All homemade, and all very good quality.

We had a safe felt and lovely stay in this cute and cosy family hotel, situated in the center of Madaba. Overall the beds were clean and massive, there was hot running water and hair dryer provided.Breakfast was tasty and generous and much of it, was homecooked. Edward and his mum are very friendly, caring, informative and helpful at all times.Their hearty attitude extends beyond the typical.

Great place to stay at when visiting Madaba and surrounding cities. Edward and his family are lovely hosts and will give you lots of ideas on what to visit and advice ! I 100% recommend
