If you still need proof that Jordanians are seriously good at cooking, here’s another one. We couldn’t get enough of their kofte in tahini sauce and everything else was cooked to perfection too: fresh, flavourful, fluffy, juicy, crunchy, delectable. Every dish has a distinct flavour thanks to precise seasoning. Even the humble grilled chicken is turned into a superb treat. The chef makes art out of presentation too: it’s as joyful to look at the food here as to eat it . The quality to price ratio is excellent.

We were not really hungry and wanted just some local food. We ordered falafel, salad and potatoes. First thought it will be too less to fill both of us but it was plenty to fill us both. Food tasty and looked exactly like on the pictures. Would go again. Local food is for very reasonable price.

Amazing experience!
They serve local food in gourmet solutions. The waiter is a young and very nice guy speaking English very well and ready to give suggestions and hints for the meals. The food was delicious, tasty and abundant.
For two main dishes and a salad we paid 17 jod: that's more than usual in Jordan, but considering the area, the quality and the service, it's more than reasonable.

I recently visited a restaurant in Madaba, Jordan called "The Red City Grill". The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with traditional Middle Eastern decorations adorning the walls. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, making sure that our experience was top-notch.

One of the standout features of the restaurant was the food. We ordered a variety of dishes, including galayet bandora, and kabobs, and they were all cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and authentic, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. We particularly enjoyed the cheese triangle (sambousek), which were creamy and smooth, and the meat kebab 3 sticks with rice and yogurt souce, which had a lovely smoky taste.

In addition to the delicious food, also had a good selection of drinks. We tried the meant tea of course and we drank coffee on the corner since they have a espresso machine, and it tasted wonderful.

Overall, our experience at the restaurant was short but wonderful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were all very attentive. If you're ever in Madaba, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

i tried hummus with meat, grape leaves and falafel. All of them were so delicious!! highly recommended local yummy food. I was only one, upon my request gentle young waiter suggested serving meals as half portion, so i got a chance try more :) if you are in Madaba, dont waste your time to look for delicious and reasonable priced place, just get in

Wow!!! This was our last meal after a 10 day stay in Jordan and it did not disappoint! Earlier that day, we went to Mt Nebo and visited the Jasmine House for lunch (highly recommend) and one of the employees mentioned his brother had a restaurant in town for us to try. We were so glad we did! We had him recommend all of our dishes and it was by far one of our best meals. And the price was great! Highly recommend you going here if you find yourself in the Madaba area.

We were handed a card for this restaurant by the proprietor of the hotel we stayed at down the street. Hotel recommendations are often suspect, but this one checked out well in its Google reviews, so we gave it a try. The food was excellent. We had a dish with chicken and vegetables over rice which was excellent. But we were both even more delighted with the kibbeh that came in six pieces together with fries. Excellent. Together with water, the bill was 15 dinar, about the price of a single entree at the restaurant across the street. You will enjoy the service here and love the food. A great little place.

Food is great! All fresh and super tasty. We sticked to the starters as we like but I saw others people's plates with main dishes and also looked delicious. Good, quick service. You can heat up your pita while eating on heater 😁

Only one minus - tea is just a small cup of Lipton, nothing local.

I had a foul and galayet w meat very tasty and fresh , a consistent healthy meal for less than 5jod in Madaba is a great deal.

Delicious food! The chicken and mutton kababs were very tasty. The meat mansaf was also yummy and came with flavorful rice. But the kunafa here was beyond amazing; one of the best I have ever eaten. Because they made a fresh one, it takes a while to come out.

Very solid place for lunch. You could see toursists find this place through the reviews, and its worth it. The food was delicious, service was kind and good, and we were satisified with our lunch choice in Madaba. The only improvement could be in the facility, the bathrooms would definitely need a little renovation (at least the squeeky doors please), but that did not ruin the experience. The amazing food makes up for it all, I definitely recommend it.

Very nice, everything was perfect, really some of the most tender meat I've ever had in that chicken sajiya, really nice and sensible people working there. Do come here if you are in Madaba.
