Went with my family for a quick lunch on our way from Amman to Ma'een, turned out to be one of my favorite experiences in Jordan.
The cave is breath taking and the owners did a great job building a restaurant out of it without losing the magical cave vibes, from the original smell to the stairs to everything else.
The hospitality is above and beyond.
Highly recommended.

This was probably the greatest dining experience on our trip to Jordan. The restaurant is set in an ancient cave that was carved by people using flint and stone. The whole setting is just amazing and if you're lucky you also get a tour by the owner himself, which makes it even more special. The food is traditional Jordanian and nothing short of amazing. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Unusual restaurant designed inside ancient rocks. You sit on glass and enjoy the rocks and the caves below. Food was ok. price wise, it is pricy compared to other ordinary restaurants . Staff were very friendly. Nice to take the kids to explore all the caves inside. Plenty of off street parking. Worth the experience and the kids loved it. According to the owner the caves are more than 700 000 old. They do look very old.

What a fantastic, unique and special place. The floor is see through! Our wonderful waiter Majd (I hope I have written that correctly) and owner George gave us a detailed tour of the history of the caves. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced (we had the hummus, sausages and lamb from the oven with Jordan River wine) and the hosts were attentive and couldnt do enough for you. If youre looking for somewhere a bit different, definitely come here! You can see how much passion and heart has gone into this museum and we wish it every success.

It was a beautiful experience! We spoke to the owner of the restaurant, who was an erudite and passionate individual who allowed us to tour the cave. You can see proof of the millions of years of history on the walls - from the soot on the roof, the cave paintings, etchings on the walls from the iron age. Food was very good too, and portions are large. Highly recommended ❤❤

Very unique and one in billion restaurant, aside from the warm welcoming and cozy atmosphere the decoration is very eye catching with its matchless build up over the floor of an ancient cave. The food was average and acceptably delicious.. some improvements can be an advantage. The overall experience was remarkable and surely would go there again.

This restaurant is a must visit. Its a restaurant in a cave with exhibits of old items. Its made with so much love and features also a number of smaller caves that are ideal for getting together with friends.
In winter they have heaters whilst in the hot summers it surely provides a nice refreshing climate. On top of all this, food is exceptional and nicely presented--I felt like I was back in Lebanon.

Our experience was more than amazing, good food and great atmosphere, but the main thing was the hospitality of the owner and the staff members.

I will definitely consider eating here again and again, i’m in love with this place.

Great service, Abu Saqar (manager/owner) served our table himself, was so friendly and generously offered us free salad and drinks.

The vibes and design are so authentic and well planned. Very unique dining experience in Jordan.

We are yet to try their food.

Update:
The food is amazing, very recommended the following:
Sagheya lahma (meat)
Sagheya daghagh (chicken with cream sauce)
Kebba fried not grilled
Mrah Salameh special salad (with spinach)
Tabouleh with apple

A unique experience and must try, where else can you spend some time and have a good food in a natural cave that is millions of years old.

We were in awe of this “museum that serves food.” It was the best dining find our entire trip in Jordan. While we stumbled upon Mrah Salameh by luck, we were thinking in the United States we would’ve needed a reservation for a place of this caliber for months in advance. All of our food was delicious, the experience was rich, and the owner was so kind and eager to share the history of the caves. After eating, we explored around and were amazed at every twist and turn. If you’re in Madaba, this is the place to eat! If you’re in Amman, visiting is absolutely still worth it.

A hidden gem! This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. The homemade flatbread was great and all of our dishes were delicious! It took a bit of time to get used to dining on glass floors, but overall a great dinner!
