Kawon once upon a time

If I lived in Madaba, this would be my go to care. Great feel with strong wifi and stronger coffee. I ended up working there for a few hours during a recent trip and the vibe made me 100% more productive, I am sure. Get there now!

Delicious meal made by friendly staff at a reasonable. It was pretty quiet when I went there as I had an early lunch choosing the Buddha bowl and a pot of black tea.

It was incredibly relaxing and the kittens were a joy to watch and play with.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for plant-based foods, tea, coffee, cats, and books.

A fantastic place to have a coffee break between exploring all Madaba has to offer! Fascinating book store and lovely outdoor garden cafe! So pretty 🤩 out iced coffees were good too!

Former book shop and one of the only ones in the city, it is now a community enterprise, a restaurant and a cultural space with a beautiful garden.

At the top floor a very nice bookstore, with very old books piled up and many rooms to explore. Taking the stairs on the right you access to a lovely terrace and the restaurant, with two wide rooms also inside. Every corner is made with second hand forniture, resumed and taken to a new life and ending up decorating this place in a very lovely way.
Great vibe, good service and absolutely tasty food, with plenty of tasty mezze with both meat and vegetarian options.

Second visit to this magical place
Yes it is not in Amman but it is very close to Amman. Also madaba is a very touristic area and good to visit with many archeological sites.

„Emilia‘s plate“ is delicious and the atmosphere in the café is great. Definitely one of the best places in Madaba.

Charming bookstore with a nice café in the garden. A chill vibe with some cute kitties playing around. While you are there, the bookstore is worth a short visit.

Huge terrace with local cozy furniture. Got black tea and cake. Even opened earlier for us.

This is the café we've been waiting for in Madaba! Beautiful original décor, nice ambience, big garden out the back, lots of recycled and handmade furniture, delicious coffee, lovely staff. And a wonderful bookstore at the same location.
