As tour Guide if you are in Madaba you should 100% try this restaurant if you are looking for fancy restaurant in authentic way. The place is inherited to the chef from her grandfather which 120 years old house and she made it restaurant try ( Maglouba ) Or ( Sajya ) ... and i always take my tourist to this place and have great feed back

Family restaurant, good service and excellent Jordanian food. I recommand especially the traditional dish Maqloubeh.

Great food for good prices! They have only one option, but it is a combination of a large variety of dishes. It is 10 JD for the whole menu plus 5 JD for wine/beer. You can also pay by card. Totally recommended!

We had a delicious Macluba at Hikayet Sitti when visiting Madaba. All of the food was amazing and the service was warm and inviting. Such wonderful food and atmosphere! ❤❤

We had a lovely dinner here!
For us as a group of 15 persons, they prepared very tasty appetisers/starters. We travelled a bit through Jordan and had several Maqluba - but this was the by far best one!

It was by sheer chance by asking around for local Madaba food. The entrance immediately teleport us for an unforgettable evening. The ambience was home, the service second to none and the array of mezze and mains were superb.
We meet the bubbly lovely Freyah too.

What an exquisite lunch! More beautiful food than you can shake a stick at. Lovely people

We wanted to stop just for a quick hummus and we finally got all the starters. The staff is amazing and the food absolutely delicious. The quantities are a lot so be ready to leave full. We even ask for take away so we could save the food for diner !

Excellent food, service is superb. Family run business. English spoken well . Serves beer and wine. Excellent for groups.

It's a little paradise hidden in a gutter. There is no menu or something like that. Instead you get a huge amount of different Jordan food. First you get several different appetizers (after that we had almost enough to eat), but they also served two different main courses and a small dessert with tea or coffee. It was the best food we had eaten in Jordan. They just wanted to 10 JD per person for all the food (inkl. water and tea...)

Local family run restaurant. We had delicious mezze and Maqluba. Authentic local taste. The place is not fancy however very warm hospitality.

Charming family run restaurant in repurposed home in Madaba. We had delicious mezze and upside down chicken which is chicken, vegetables and rice cooked together with spices and turned upside down at the tableside!

Fantastic location in Madaba, beautiful vintage building, delicious authentic Jordanian cuisine, wonderful service, good price and serves alcohol.
