The best service we have received in Venice, which is saying a lot because all the service has been great.

Lorenzo was fantastic and always smiling. Staff predicted needs before you knew you had them. Calamari and liver delicious and plated beautifully. Aubergine pudding splendid, with little caramelized parts.

Good synergy between front and back of house. As someone in the service industry you can tell when the staff are happy, which makes everything better. 10/10.

Save your money from the expensive restaurants on the squares and go here. Make a reservation to help out the staff.

They do have a beer and housewine list not part of the wine menu.

Small rustic and intimate restaurant with great service and food. We managed to get a walk in but the venue is popular so booking a day or two in advance would be ideal. Plates are well portioned and you leave full but not bloated so you can still walk around and enjoy the city. Food was amazing and bursting with flavour really enjoyed the pasta dishes. Venue was very clean and service was quick but we were not rushed. 3 course meal for 2 is about 150eu depending on drinks but worth the money. Would highly recommend and would return

Despite its location in a very touristy area, mere steps from San Marco square, this restaurant is the very opposite of a tourist trap. Plenty of Italians come here, and you can see why. Elegant design, superb service and trully exquisite cuisine. The wine list shows that these guys know their stuff. Highly recommended!

No.1 place to be for food in Venice!

Very nice! Veal is fabulous. Close to San Marco....staff is very helpful. Extensive wine and bar selection. Not overly expensive (especially for Venice) and very good value considering taste and quality. Staff helpful with wine selection. Limited dessert selection, but all are very good. 2024 update...I have enjoyed this restaurant since 2020. The consistency of the food and service is amazing! Be sure and make reservations. The pistachio ice cream with chocolate crumbles is fantastic!

So Yummy! The grilled cuttlefish and pumpkin purée were one of the highlights of our trip!

Perfect place for an elegant evening! If you are looking for upscale, dining with exceptional food, and service, come here!! Everything we ate from the tomato mozzarella, to the desserts, was absolutely perfect. The servers were amazing. There was nothing I would change about this evening.

Chanced upon this stylish eatery on our walk to St Marks square. We shared the excellent fresh scallop for starters, followed by mains of squid ink pasta and fried seafood. Everything was really fresh and delicious! Not to miss: the pistachio gelato! Super attentive staff and fantastic service!

Highly recommend you visit here. We went for dinner and it was full so we were kindly asked to come back 45 mins later, and it was definitely worth the wait. Food and service throughout were fantastic. The octopus for starter was divine and sweet, with special mention to the orange mayonnaise, followed by a delicious broccoli ravioli and mixed seafood & fish main. My partner finished with a tiramisu (which im told was amazing) while i had a brandy. A fantastic night of great food.

I had the great pleasure of dining here tonight. 100% would recommend this spot if you're looking for something beyond normal tourist fare in the San Marco and appreciate interesting food and great service.

Addendum* The one star review (Oct 12th 2023) was the table next to us. A coperto is common practice all over Italy. The way the staff were berated and talked down to (because the reviewer didn't understand or care to read the menu that CLEARLY explained the cover charge before ordering) was inexcusable. Also, per the menu, they have donated part of said coperto to a doctors without borders type organization for many years.

Everything about this place was perfect! Food was excellent and unique. What made the experience even better were the very attentive and charismatic waiters.

We needed to seat 5 people and were able to walk in without a booking at around 10pm; there was a short wait.

We all really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! The waiters were great and frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Would come back again!

We stopped In for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The scallop appetizer and burrata appetizer were both very delicious. For entrees the octopus and truffle pasta were insanely delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant! A bit pricier than others but a great ambience and fantastic food and service.

Incredible restaurant! My group got there right when they opened and were seated immediately. Within 5 minutes, the restaurant was completely filled and it makes sense why. Great service and the food was delectable. Must get the scallops to start. The pesto swordfish dish was amazing!

Absolutely amazing culinary experience!! I made a reservation well in advance by email and always received prompt responses. When we got to the restaurant the staff very kindly greeted us and quickly said to us, "A table is coming up in a few mins," and sure enough - we were seated within 5 mins. Great first impression! We ordered these plates:

Scallops, chestnut purre, persimmon sauce, crispy spinach
Selection of cheeses with assorted preserves
Parmesan cheese, "vacche Rosse" selection, aged 24 months
Grilled veal cutlet, Anglesey sea salt, barbecue sauce
Spaghetti with clams
Ravioli with truffles

I was speechless after tasting the scallops. ABSOLUTELY. STUNNING! I'd never tasted scallops that rich or delicious. Amazing. And every dish after that only kept getting better! The cheeses were extraordinary – the balsamic vinegar to dip the delicious pieces of parmesan was perfect – wow! The wine selection was extensive and well chosen. There was a small mix-up at our table because one of our guests jokingly said she was full after the appetizer, but the staff clarified and resumed service as usual. I can't stress enough - if you are in Venice, this restaurant is a must! I work for the largest retail travel agency in the U.S. and I'll be sure to request that this restaurant be advertised to our network of customers. This ranks as one of the best meals I've had - not only in Italy, but in my overall dining experiences. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Simply say, just so delicious! Had a early dinner here under nice ambience, service staff are very warm friendly and professional. This dinner made such a good start of the entire trip. Oh, do try this Moscato wine, it’ll Wow you !

Enoteca is a cut above other Venice restaurants.
The beef tartare with cured egg was gently seasoned and decently flavoured. I'm not sure the asparagus added too much to the dish but it did bring some colour to the presentation.
The pan seared scallop with pea purée was a delight. Fresh and tender scallops that were delicately cooked. Good flavour against the pea purée which was subtly sweet.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ravioli with truffles. Clearly fresh as the smell was invigorating yet very light on the palette. I would have preferred my ravioli a bit more Al dente for bite, but that is just preference. It certainly wasn't cooked poorly.
The lamb Ragu tagliatelle was very tasty with good umami flavour and a good amount of cheese. It was nice to try but I will always prefer the depth and richness in an oxtail Ragu.

The burnt cheesecake with strawberry sauce was not overly rich. The tartness from the strawberry sauce balanced the dish well; it had chunks of fresh strawberry in there to add some dimension and contrast to the softness of the cheese.

We had a couple of peach drinks without meals.

We had a wonderful experience, incredible food, great service, and cozy atmosphere. The food was impeccable and exotic. Go there and prepare yourself for a memorable experience.

Fantastic spot for dinner! The waiter was very helpful in choosing both wines and what to eat. It was the first time we tried orange wine! The cheese plate was excellent. The duck ragout and pumpkin ravioli were unique and delicious! Wish we had more time in Venice just to visit this place again!
